Helium One Global Limited Announces Board Changes Helium One Global announced the appointment of Clive Carver as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect (29 April 2026). James Smith has decided to step down from his role as Non-Executive Chairman. James has been on the Board of Helium One since its IPO in 2020 as a Non-Executive Director, and as Non-Executive Chairman since August 2023. During James' tenure as a Director and Chairman, he has overseen a period of significant achievement for the Company, including its successful listing on AIM to the first helium discovery in Tanzania at the Company's southern Rukwa Helium Project, the award of Tanzania's first helium mining licence and the Company's farm in to the Galactica-Pegasus helium development project in the US. Clive is an experienced public company non-executive director and chairman, having been chairman of a number of AIM companies in recent years, with direct experience in, amongst others, the oil & gas, oilfield services and mining sectors. Clive is currently Chairman of AIM listed Caspian Sunrise plc and Built Cybernetics plc. Clive is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and was for 30 years a fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (FCT). While working in the UK broking industry Clive gained more than 15 years' experience as a Qualified Executive under the AIM Rules where he ran the Corporate Finance departments of several of the larger and more active Nominated Adviser firms. The global helium market continues to face structural supply chain disruptions, rationing, and surcharges particularly due to prolonged instability in Middle Eastern supply routes. This environment has significantly increased the demand for reliable, US-sourced domestic supply. The Operator is leveraging these market tailwinds to advance its offtake strategy in the following manner: Spot Sales: near-term deliveries are scheduled and set to be spot-priced on a tube trailer load basis. Long-term Offtake: negotiations are progressing with multiple parties for long-term helium and CO2 supply contracts. The strategy remains focused on a balanced mix of spot pricing and long-term contracts to maximize value as the Pinon Canyon Plant ramps up to full capacity. CO2 liquefaction remains on schedule for the second half of First Half 2026. The tie-in of the Jackson-27 well (with high CO2 concentration of 98.3%) is timed to coincide with the commencement of CO2 sales, providing an additional revenue stream for the project. Amine unit now operational and removing CO2 from the inlet gas stream and providing a helium-enriched gas stream to the Helium Recovery Unit. The Helium Recovery Unit is now filling the onsite tube trailer with refined helium for sale under established spot-market arrangements. The operational team is continuing to optimise plant settings, operating pressures and flow rates to ensure peak recovery efficiency. Following the commissioning of the amine unit, the Pinon Canyon Plant has commenced integrated operations. Raw gas is now being processed through the amine unit to remove CO2, with the resulting helium-enriched stream being refined through the Helium Recovery Unit before being pumped into the tube trailer. A significant commercial milestone has been reached with the plant currently filling a tube trailer with refined helium gas for sale under established spot-market arrangements. The facility is now fully integrated and producing, and the Operator is continuing to optimise plant settings to maximize recovery efficiency as production volumes ramp up. The State-9 and State-16 wells are tied in and on production, alongside the Phase 1 Jackson-31 and Jackson-29 wells. The Jackson-4 well was previously tied in as part of the Phase 1 programme, it is temporarily offline for a rental compressor change-out. Jackson-2 is now tied into the gathering system and awaiting well site compression and monitoring before being brought on production. The tie-in of Jackson-27 remains scheduled to coincide with CO2 sales. CO2 liquefaction from the amine unit remains on track before the end of First Half 2026. Following optimisation of the plant settings, the Operator's focus will turn to optimising the existing wells and gathering system flows and planning and permitting additional wells. The flagship southern Rukwa Project is located within the southern Rukwa Rift Basin in south-west Tanzania. This project entering a full appraisal and development stage following the success of the 2023/24 exploration drilling campaign, which proved a helium discovery at Itumbula West-1 and, following an extended well test, successfully flowed 5.5% helium continually to surface in Third Quarter 2024. Following the success of the extended well test, the Mining Licence application was filed with the Tanzania Mining Commission in September 2024 and the 480km2 Mining Licence was formally awarded to the Company in July 2025. The Company also owns a 50% working interest in the Galactica-Pegasus helium development project in Las Animas County, Colorado, USA. This project is operated by Blue Star Helium Ltd. and successfully completed a six well development drilling campaign in First Half 2025. The completion of the development programme is a key component of the broader Galactica-Pegasus development strategy; aimed at progressing the helium and CO2 discoveries to near-term commercial production. This programme has seen a systematic approach to developing the extensive Lyons Formation reservoir. Helium One Global Ltd Announces Southern Rukwa Helium Project Update Helium One Global provided an update on the Company's southern Rukwa Helium Project. Following the completion of wireline logging and the full mobilisation of equipment and personnel to site, the Company announced that the ESP testing phase has commenced at the ITW-1 well. All downhole tools and surface control equipment has now undergone the required checks and verification procedures prior to deployment. The ESP assembly is running in hole and will be positioned to allow further evaluation of the fractured Basement and Karoo intervals, through increased flow rates and enhanced helium production from these deeper geological zones. Helium One Global Provides Galactica Development Update Helium One Global provided an update following the Blue Star Helium announcement issued regarding the Galactica Project. Construction has commenced on the production facility pad and gathering system. First helium production on schedule for December 2025 Details Blue Star confirm that contractors, Redbud Partners LLC and PVC, broke ground on both the production facility pad and the gathering system, and remains on schedule to deliver first gas in December. Site works are underway for the 120m x 150m production facility pad and concurrent upgrade of the immediate access road, which will prepare the site for the delivery and installation of production equipment. Helium One Global Ltd Receives Formal Award of Southern Rukwa Mining Licence in Tanzania Helium One Global provided an update on the southern Rukwa Helium project in Tanzania. The Company also announces that it has entered into an investment agreement with three institutional investors that has been arranged by Marex Financial pursuant to which the Investors have conditionally agreed to invest a total of £10 million (approximately USD 13 million) to fund the next phase of operations in Tanzania and the US. The Company also intends to make available to existing shareholders the ability to participate in a retail offer of up to £1,000,000. Summary: Southern Rukwa Mining Licence formally awarded. This will be undertaken by re-entering the ITW-1 well and utilising a downhole Electric Submersible Pump which will be used to create artificial lift and flow helium at increased rates from the Basement and Karoo intervals. This operation is expected to provide a greater understanding of the helium concentrations at higher flow rates. This information will then be used to enhance the development programme. The evaluation of helium resources and the subsequent completion of the CPR has been carried out and issued by leading international reserves auditors Sproule ERCE. The evaluation of these helium resources in the southern Rukwa Helium Project are solely within the recently accepted 480km2 Mining Licence area. These resources are also broadly in line with those of the internal Company estimates which went into the Feasibility Study ("FS") and which formed the basis of the ML application for the southern Rukwa Helium project in September 2024. The Colorado ECMC has granted permits to drill five additional helium development wells (Jackson-27 SWSE, Jackson-31 SENW, Jackson-29 SWNW, Jackson-2 L4 and Jackson-4 L4) at the Galactica/Pegasus project. Drilling is planned to start this quarter. These wells are located on Galactical Pegasus OGDP I. The wells are shown on the map below. The newly approved wells are located to the south and southwest of the successful State-16 development well, which is suspended for tie into production, and are expected, together with State-16, to form part of the initial gas gathering into the Galactica helium production facility which Blue Star is developing with the company. Currently, Blue Star has one completed development well waiting for tie-in to production and an inventory of fifteen helium development well locations approved at Galactica/Pegasus including Form 2 approvals for the drilling for eight development wells including those the subject of this announcement plus State-09, -35 and -36 helium development wells. Blue Star had a successful exploration campaign at the Galactica and Pegasus prospects (JXSN wells) followed by the first successful development well, State16 which was drilled in June 2024. Independent engineering consultants advised Blue Star that State-16 is capable of a maximum rate of 441thousand standard cubic feet per day ("Mscf/d") with more stabilised rates constrained for production optimisation projected to be between 250 Mscf/d and 350 Mscf/d. The well tested 1.9% helium and logs identified 96+ feet of gas column in the Lyons Sandstone. Four wells drilled across the two prospects resulted in four discoveries with gas bearing columns of up to 230 feet and helium content up to 6% and flow rates as high as 412 Mscf/d. Downhole temperature measurements recorded up to 88°C from the production logging tool, which is consistent with the drill stem test results and likely to be derived from hot Basement-derived fluids. It is believed that these fluids are carrying the helium in solution preferentially along faults and fractures from deep within the Basement source. Following the completion of the EWT across the fractured Basement, a short co-mingled test of both intervals was conducted. Helium One Global Announces Itumbula West-1 Commencement of Operations Helium One Global announced that operations at the Itumbula West-1 well commenced on July 26, 2024. Highlights include, Drilling operations have commenced at ITW-1 ahead of the planned extended well test. Plan to test two intervals: the fractured Basement and faulted Karoo, following the successful flow of 4.7% helium to surface during the drill stem test in February 2024. Prior to undertaking the EWT, the well will be deepened further into the Basement. Geolog undertaking mudlogging and testing whilst drilling to monitor helium gas shows, with above background indications of helium and hydrogen already observed whilst drilling out the 9?" shoe and re-entering the original wellbore. Portable mass spectrometer and field pressure-volume-temperature specialist on site to measure and validate helium gas shows as well as downhole samples from EWT. Global technology company, SLB (formerly Schlumberger) contracted and onsite for fluid services with surface well testing equipment currently on route to operating location. Phase III operations from spud to completion of EWT is anticipated to take approximately five weeks. The ITW-1 well operations were successfully commenced on 26 July 2024. The Company has drilled out the 9" shoe track and is currently entering the original 8½" hole, following which the Company will be drilling ahead to deepen the well further into the Basement prior to the EWT. Upon drilling out the 9?" shoe track and re-entering the original wellbore, the Company observed above background levels of helium and hydrogen flowing to surface.
Following the success of the ITW-1 drill stem test in February 2024, where 4.7% helium and 2.2% hydrogen flowed to surface from the fractured Basement, the Company is preparing to test two intervals. These will be the fractured Basement interval in the deepest section of the well, as well as the faulted Karoo section. After drilling, slotted casing will be run and cemented followed by the installation of a completion string prior to the commencement of the EWT. If the EWT is successful, the well will be suspended as a future producer. During the testing phase, helium and hydrogen gas measurements will be monitored, along with flow rates, pressure and reservoir performance. The Company has the ability to collect and measure gas samples onsite and will be able to verify gas composition in real-time. The results from the EWT will be integrated into a detailed subsurface dynamic model, which will be used to determine resource estimates and formulate part of a wider feasibility study. The whole process from spud to completion of extended well testing across the two zones is expected to take approximately five weeks. ESIA study: The ESIA is part of the feasibility study which is central to the licence conversion process that is required by the Mining Commission in Tanzania. As the ESIA is expected to take approximately six months to complete, the Company has commenced the work now so that the results can align with the EWT and, upon completion of both, will then allow the Company to complete the feasibility study ahead of submitting the ML conversion application. The Company has appointedMTL Consulting Ltd. ("MTL"), a Tanzanian company, for the ESIAand will continue to work with them to compile and deliver a detailed report to the National Environmental Management Council within the necessary timeframe. As well as the ESIA study, the Company will also undertake more detailed subsurface work and plans to establish contingent resource estimates which will form part of the Feasibility Study. Production facility study: The Company has also commenced above-ground engineering studies and, following a detailed review of several companies, has now selected one to produce a preliminary design for a production system that will be suited to the flow rates and gas composition within the Rukwa Basin. This study has commenced with several processing facility options already being reviewed. These will include a smaller, lower rate pilot plant that would allow for early production as well as larger, modular systems that can be scaled-up. The design work will include helium liquefaction, storage and transportation with the aim of providing a well head to off-taker processing system. This would enable the Company to streamline all downstream and mid-stream activities. Helium One Global Provides an Update on the Completion of the Itumbula West-1 Well Helium One Global provided the following update on the completion of the Itumbula West-1 well which saw helium flow to surface. Highlights: Itumbula West-1 well has successfully completed all wireline logging and drill stem testing ("DST") operations. The well successfully flowed a high concentration of helium to surface from Basement, at a measured concentration up to 4.7% helium. A measured helium concentration of 4.7% equates to almost nine thousand times above background levels. Hydrogen also flowed to surface during basement testing, at a concentration of 2.2% hydrogen, over thirty-seven thousand times above background levels. Wireline logs, including image logs, demonstrated the location of fault and fracture zones and these were used to locate optimal well test intervals. Downhole fluid samples have been obtained from three separate well test intervals, in the Basement and across the fault zones, all were analysed at surface in an onsite pressure-volume-temperature ("PVT") laboratory and indicated the presence of elevated helium. Duplicate samples collected from all three well test intervals will be sent to a second laboratory for analysis. Hot Basement fluids, measuring >80°C, encountered across the fault zone and in the Basement and are consistent with helium and hydrogen prone intervals. Elevated temperatures consistent with a low enthalpy geothermal system. The well is now being cased and suspended and the Company will fully evaluate the well results and focus on advancing this project in the most effective way possible. Non-productive time ("NPT") for the Epiroc Predator 220 drilling rig reduced by over 350% between Tai-3 and Itumbula West-1. Zero Lost Time Injuries ("LTI") across the two well drilling programme of Tai-3 and Itumbula West-1. The successful results of the wireline logging, combined with the acquisition of image logs, confirmed the presence and location of the fault zones and fractured Basement that were originally identified through the evaluation of the 2D seismic. Helium shows obtained from the drilling mud whilst drilling had already indicated that these zones were likely to be helium-bearing intervals, and the wireline data enabled the well test intervals to be identified. The Company identified three zones for well testing, and upon completion of each DST, all three zones successfully yielded downhole gas samples. When performing the Basement DST, high concentrations of helium began to flow to surface following reverse circulation and yielded a compositional mix up to 4.7% helium, 1.5% argon, 8% oxygen and 86% nitrogen. These results were evaluated using an onsite Mass Spectrometer and verified from downhole samples by a field PVT laboratory at the well site. A measured helium concentration of 4.7% equates to almost nine thousand times above background levels (5.3ppm). Two subsequent well tests were carried out across the fault zone and yielded similar results from the downhole samples which were evaluated in the onsite field PVT laboratory. The Company has identified that the frequency of helium increases with depth and is preferentially carried in hot fluids out of the Basement and along fault conduits. As the helium rises through the well bore, the pressure decreases, and it is thought that the helium then comes out of solution and increases in concentration. This was further collaborated with mudlogging data that showed elevated helium whilst drilling the 8½" hole section through the Lake Beds Formation and the shallow fault zone. The well produced a continuous measurement of helium gas across the micro-GC and this consistent helium gas measurement was repeated during hole opening operations in preparation for running casing. Despite having an accurate, independent field PVT laboratory on site, the Company has collected duplicate samples where possible, and these will be sent to a second laboratory for independent verification. In addition to high helium flowing to surface, the Company encountered elevated hydrogen levels that flowed to surface. This concentration of hydrogen was measured at 2.2% using micro-GC equipment and is over thirty-seven thousand times above background levels (0.6ppm). During the DST, it was noted that the downhole temperature gauges detected elevated temperatures (>80°C) associated with the release of hot Basement fluids, and subsequently, helium. These temperatures are indicative of a low enthalpy geothermal well. This geothermal energy has the potential to result in either a direct use project or a binary fluid electricity producing plant. Which in turn could be utilised in a number of ways which may include powering several functions in the development and production phase. The Company owned Predator 220 drilling rig completed the drilling of the Itumbula West-1 well in eighteen days to a total depth of 961m measured depth and has successfully run wireline operations and completed three DSTs. NPT for the Epiroc Predator 220 drilling rig was reduced by over 350% between the Tai-3 and Itumbula West-1 wells, with zero downtime related to hydraulic issues. This improvement reflects and justifies the comprehensive upgrade and maintenance programme carried out post Tai-3. The well has been successfully drilled to 961m MD and has reached its TD in granitic Basement. The well encountered elevated helium shows, over twenty times above background, whilst drilling through the Lake Beds Formation, Red Sandstone Group, Karoo and Basement targets. Elevated readings and an increased frequency of helium shows were encountered whilst drilling through the faulted zone. An increase in temperature was also recorded which suggests the movement of deeply sourced fluids migrating along the fault, which is likely liberating the helium. The helium readings were measured from the drilling mud using the Micro Gas Chromatograph and validated using the onsite portable Mass Spectrometer. In addition to helium, the well has encountered a high concentration of hydrogen in the Lake Beds Formation over a 6m interval. Hydrogen shows continued to be encountered throughout the Karoo section and into Basement. The Company will now rig up for wireline operations to log the entire well. Following wireline operations, the Company will then perform an open hole well test (DST) across the faulted zone and additional zones of interest, once full petrophysical analysis of the wireline logs is complete. Downhole samples will be taken and evaluated onsite using the pressure-volume-temperature field laboratory. Therefore, in addition to the conventional mudlogging and wireline procedures that were undertaken on Tai-3, the Company also aims to perform an open hole well test in both the fault zones and Karoo targets on Itumbula West-1. Whilst drilling, the Company will be measuring gas shows using Geolog's mudlogging services and a portable mass spectrometer. Once the wireline logs have been run and evaluated, the Company will also have the option to take downhole samples under reservoir conditions using Baker Hughes' Reservoir Characterisation Instrument tool. The Company will be able to transfer and evaluate these samples onsite, as well as sending duplicate samples for laboratory analyses at a leading noble gas laboratory. The whole process from spud to completion of logs and well testing is expected to take approximately four to five weeks. The Company continues to engage with the University of Dar es Salaam, who have appointed a member of staff from their Department of Geosciences to be involved with this well in order to gain valuable experience in what continues to be a project in Tanzania. The Company has now successfully purchased and mobilised a replacement iron rough neck from the USA. This new item will replace the existing iron rough neck component on the Company's Epiroc Predator 220 drilling rigs and is expected to arrive on site, at the Itumbula well location, and to be installed within the next three weeks. Over the past two weeks, a specialist Hydraulics Engineer has been reviewing the hydraulic system of the drilling rig and the Company is confident that these issues have now been rectified. Following rig down at Tai-3, the rig itself and all associated equipment (including the substructure and the pipe skate), have now been successfully moved to the Itumbula lay down area, located approximately 1.2km from the Itumbula well pad. It is at this location that the remainder of the rig maintenance and repair work will be completed and the rig will then be moved the short distance to the new Itumbula well pad. Following the positive drilling results from the Tai-3 well, and the increase in concentration of helium encountered in the fault and fractures close to Basement, the Company has subsequently reviewed the geology of the Itumbula prospect. It is bounded by a large, deep seated western fault which extends into the Basement source rock. It is this fault that is interpreted to be associated with the active surface helium seep 3km away. With the results from Tai-1/-1A and Tai-3 suggesting that it is the migration of fluids that play a crucial role in liberating the helium out of the Basement source and along fractures and faults, the Company has now elected to target the western bounding fault at Itumbula as a primary target. Therefore, the Itumbula well has been designed to directly target this new fault play where the Company anticipates helium concentrations to be significantly elevated. The Company now expects to spud the Itumbula well in early January 2024; the company anticipates the drilling programme to be completed within 30 days. Funding update: Having successfully moved the rig to Itumbula and, following the identification of the new Itumbula well, completed the new well pad civils work in readiness for drilling, the Company has undertaken a full cost analysis and budgeting exercise In order to ensure that, once spudded, the Itumbula well can be successfully drilled as planned. In undertaking this costing exercise the Company has been cognisant of the contingency funding that may be required given the significant additional costs and time delays encountered during the drilling of Tai-3. Having completed the costing exercise, the Company has identified a need for additional funds before Itumbula can be drilled. In addition, the Company is in receipt of a number of unsolicited approaches from potential investors and, in light of the findings of the costing exercise, is advancing these discussions while also assessing other financing options. Helium One Global Successfully Completes Wireline Logging and Downhole Sampling At the Tai-3 Well Helium One Global announced that the Company has successfully completed wireline logging and downhole sampling at the Tai-3 well. The Company has now successfully completed drilling and wireline operations at the Tai-3 well, despite a number of unexpected operating challenges,. These wireline operations have included logging, and downhole pressure tests and sampling. The Company was able to successfully run logging tools down to 1,430m MD (compared to the current TD of 1,448m MD) and acquired downhole fluid samples from four different zones in the Lower and Upper Karoo Group. Petrophysical analysis of the downhole logs demonstrated little to no zones of interest for sampling in the Lake Beds or Nsungwe Formation. The wireline logs have demonstrated a series of good quality, stacked reservoir intervals in both the Upper and Lower Karoo Group sections. In particular, the deeper Lower Karoo Group section which had not previously been drilled in the Rukwa Rift Basin and initial petrophysical analysis has demonstrated a series of well-developed good quality reservoir sands. These sands range from2-20m thick, an average 17% porosity and 0.44 net to gross, interbedded with shale prone seals. These reservoir-seal pairs, combined with their proximity to the Basement helium source, makes this interval a very interesting primary zone. The Upper Karoo Group section demonstrates an increased shale content, and more thinly bedded reservoir intervals. The Lake Bed Formation is dominated by sandstones and shales, with minor amounts of limestone. Initial petrophysical analysis of wireline logs over the Lake Bed Formation demonstrates good to excellent quality reservoir sands (average 24% porosity and 0.61 net to gross) interbedded with thin claystones and limestones. The downhole sampling programme, using a Baker Hughes Reservoir Characterisation Instrument, successfully recovered samples from four different intervals in the Lower and Upper Karoo Group. Although, no free gas samples were obtained, there was evidence of helium gas in solution when the samples were transferred at surface, and pressure-volume-temperature analyses were performed. These samples yielded helium up to 8,320ppm helium, with the highest values encountered close to a small, faulted zone in the Lower Karoo Group. It is noted that helium shows increased whilst drilling into the Basement fracture zone until losses were encountered and drilling operations were halted The presence of these helium-enriched fluids migrating through the basin along fractures and fault zones that is likely to allow the helium to migrate from the deeper Basement source rock. As a result of this increased understanding of the regional characteristic, the Company plans to drill deeper into the Basement with a view that this trend continues, and helium concentrations continue to increase at greater depths. On this basis, the decision has been made to run 7" casing and suspend the Tai-3 well, so Helium One can return at a later date and deepen the well. The Company is also in the process of reviewing the geology of the Itumbula prospect, in light of information gleaned from Tai-3. The Itumbula prospect is bound by one of the largest faults in the basin, and this is associated with a prolific surface helium seep which has measured up to 10.4% helium. The results from the Tai-1 and Tai-3 wells seem to indicate that it is the faults and Basement fractures that are releasing the highest concentrations of helium and, therefore, the Company now intends to target the western bounding fault of the Itumbula prospect during the second phase of this drilling campaign The Company is still finalising the details of the repair work that is required for the rig and will provide updates as soon as that information is available; as well as plans for the revised well location once concluded. Helium One Global Provides the Update on Tai-3 Operations Helium One Global provides the following update on Tai-3 operations. The Company's Epiroc Predator 220 drilling rig has encountered an issue with the hydraulic system which, as a result, is affecting the performance of the iron rough neck mechanism. Both the hydraulic system and the iron rough neck are critical to the operations of the rig and, as a result of this, the Company has had to temporarily shut down operations whilst the full extent of the issue is determined. As a result of this, the Company is currently unable to pull the drill string out of the hole and has therefore been unable to commence wireline operations as planned. However, the drill pipe can still be rotated and drilling fluid circulated so wellbore stability remains good. The Tai-3 results during drilling were very encouraging with helium shows up to six times above background at multiple levels, increasing in frequency and quality with depth. The Company and on-site team remain fully focused and committed to resolving this temporary setback so that the valuable wireline data and downhole gas samples can still be obtained. Helium One Global Ltd Provides Operational Update on the Drilling of the Tai-3 Well Helium One Global provided the following update on the drilling of the Tai-3 well. Tai-3 well has successfully encountered helium shows whilst drilling in the Lake Bed Formation and the Karoo Group. The Basement reservoir target has come in deep to prognosis and is yet to be reached; this has extended the drilling period; Well depth is currently at 1,445m measured depth ("MD"), with well total depth ("TD") now expected to be at 1,550m MD; On Sunday 29th October, whilst drilling the final section, the rig encountered a mechanical and an electrical fault which resulted in a temporary rig shut down to allow for troubleshooting and repairs; Once drilling recommences, the Basement target should be reached quickly and this will be followed by a comprehensive wireline programme to fully evaluate the helium shows encountered whilst drilling Details The Tai-3 well has encountered helium shows whilst drilling In the Lake Bed Formation and the Lower Karoo Group. These measurements were made on the Micro Gas Chromatograph whilst drilling and have also been calibrated with the portable mass spectrometer to confirm the presence of helium in the mud gas. The Company has not yet reached the third reservoir target of Basement and were hoping to reach well TD yesterday. The Basement target is now over 400m deeper than prognosed, but cuttings have indicated the presence of weathered metamorphic material, indicating that the well is now very close to the target interval. On Sunday 29th October, while running back in hole following a drill bit change, there was a seal failure on the iron rough neck which is used to make and break connections of drill pipe. The Company is confident that this part can be replaced in-country but will require a few days to source and repair. Following the component failure in the rig carrier on 4th October and prior to yesterday, the Predator 220 drilling rig had continued to perform well. Once drilling has recommenced and has reached TD in Basement, the Company will then rig up for wireline operations and commence logging in order to gain additional information on reservoir characteristics, as well as to identify and sample any gas-bearing intervals. Helium One Global Recommences Drilling on Tai-3 Well Helium One Global announced that drilling on the Tai-3 well has successfully recommenced. On October 13, 2023, the Company successfully installed the replacement part required to resolve the component failure in the main rig carrier that occurred on October 4, 2023. With the assistance of the rig mechanic and engineers from Epiroc, the rig manufacturer, the rig then underwent testing prior to restarting operations. As of 16:00 hrs EAT (14:00 hrs BST) on October 14, 2023, the Predator 220 drilling rig recommenced drilling. Prior to the component failure the Company had drilled to just below the 13 3/8" casing shoe, which was on track with the company's expected drilling timetable. The Company will now continue to drill ahead to the planned total depth (TD) of 1,100m MD through the primary reservoir targets in the Lake Bed Formation, Karoo Group and Basement. The Company expects to make a further announcement once TD is reached. All third-party services have remained onsite and were ready to immediately resume operational activities and minimise any further delays. The wireline tools have also been fully tested and are ready to run in the hole once the TD has been reached. Civils work is continuing for the second well in this drilling campaign on the Itumbula-C well pad and access road. The Company remains on track to drill this well prior to the wet season commencing. Recent soil gas surveys over the Itumbula prospect have yielded helium concentrations above background levels which correlate well to the surface helium anomalies identified from the 2022 multispectral satellite spectroscopy seep study. The Company has also successfully carried out an emergency medical evacuation (medevac) drill from the Tai-3 wellsite, using a helicopter fully equipped for medevac purposes and the company’s onsite medical team who specialise in trauma care. On site, the Company has 24hr medical cover with a doctor, paramedic, a fully equipped ambulance, ambulance driver and a specialist clinic. Helium One Global Ltd Updates on the Drilling of the Tai-3 Well Helium One Global Ltd. updated on the drilling of the Tai-3 well. the Predator 220 drilling rig suffered a component failure within the main rig carrier. In order to undertake the necessary repairs, mechanical parts will need to be brought in from outside of Tanzania and, as a result, will require it to temporarily suspend operations whilst these repairs are carried out. Prior to this event, drilling operations were on schedule with no issues with the hole, its well control equipment is fully installed and pressure tested, and the rig was performing well, with the target depth expected to have been reached over the coming weekend. The company had just commenced drilling the 8.5" hole section at the top of the Lake Bed Formation, after successfully running and cementing the 13 3/8" casing. The Company expects it to take in the region of two weeks to source the required parts and repair the drilling rig and is confident that it will then be able to successfully recommence drilling in accordance with the original programme. Helium One Global Announces That the Tai-3 Well Commenced Drilling on 25 September 2023 Helium One Global announced that the Tai-3 well commenced drilling on 25 September 2023. With all drilling crew, third party services equipment and personnel onsite, the Tai-3 well was successfully spudded this morning. The team are currently drilling ahead to section TD prior to running the 20" conductor. The conductor prevents unconsolidated rock entering the well, before proceeding to drill the 17.5" hole section. Whilst drilling, Helium One will measure gas shows using Geolog's mudlogging services and a portable mass spectrometer. After TD has been reached, Baker Hughes will then rig up and run their wireline tools. Once the wireline logs are run and evaluated, the Company will then run in hole to evaluate further with Baker Hughes' Reservoir Characterisation Instrument ("RCI") tool to take downhole samples under reservoir conditions. Onsite, there is also the facility to transfer and evaluate these samples, as well as the capability to send duplicate samples for laboratory analyses in a leading noble gas laboratory. The whole process from spud to completion of logs and initial analyses is expected to take approximately four weeks, after which the Company will make a further announcement. The containerised camp is now fully setup and operational at the wellsite to minimise crew movements during 24hr operations. The camp has capacity to house ~60 personnel, including Helium One's national staff who are employed for the duration of the project. The Company is engaged with the University of Dar es Salaam, who have selected a member of staff from their School of Mines and Geosciences to be assigned to the drilling project, to gain valuable experience as well as transfer of skills for what is a flagship project in Tanzania. A separate batch of rock cuttings from the well will also be sent to the Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST), the scientific department of the Government which sits under the Ministry of Minerals. Helium One Global Ltd Announces Operational Update Helium One Global provided an update on progress at its Rukwa (100% Operated) project area ahead of its Phase II drilling programme. The Company has now appointed a full drill crew in advance of the Phase II drilling programme. The skilled crew have been sourced through reputable, UK-based energy project management company, Zenith Energy ("Zenith"). The crew comprises a day and night shift in order to undertake 24-hour operations and also includes the appointment of third-party services personnel and an operator supervisory team. Helium One Global Ltd Provides an Update on Progress At Its Rukwa Project Area Including Details of Its Phase II Drilling Programme Helium One Global provided an update on progress at its Rukwa (100% Operated) project area including details of its Phase II drilling programme. Following the extensive evaluation of rig options and in order to remain on the critical path to a third quarter spud, the Company has successfully completed the acquisition of an Epiroc Predator 220 drilling rig - an oil and gas type rig capable of drilling to depths in excess of 2,000m. The rig is now in Tanzania and is currently being mobilised to the Rukwa site. This is a highly significant achievement for the Company as ownership of the rig provides the opportunity to move quickly into further exploration drilling and, in a success case, allow the appraisal of Tai without the additional cost of keeping a rig on standby or become challenged by mobilising a rig into country again. The Company has an inspection report of the rig from 2022 which confirms that the rig is in good condition and a more recent inspection by the Company, prior to acquisition, has confirmed it remains in working order. The Company will now focus on securing an experienced crew ahead of drilling operations. Helium One Global Ltd Provides Drilling Rig Update Helium One Global provided a rig update in relation to the Company's contractual relationship with SOFORI taking into account today's announcement by Noble Helium. The Company has previously issued a number of deadlines to SOFORI but continues to have concerns about the lack of operational and contractual progress required under the terms of the non-binding Letter of Intent ("LoI") and, pursuant to legal advice received by the Company, have issued SOFORI with a rectification notice. The Company continues to review, and progress, a number of alternative options that, in the event that SOFORI do not fulfil the obligations outlined to them in the notice of rectification, will still enable Helium One to meet its targeted drilling of the Tai-C well in Third Quarter 2023. Helium One Global Ltd Completes an Independent Verification of the Prospective Resources At the Tai Prospect Helium One Global announced that the Company has completed an independent verification of the prospective resources at the Tai Prospect ("Tai"). The evaluation of the total gas and helium prospective resources, and completion of a competent person's report (CPR) for the Tai prospect has been carried out and issued by reserves auditors ERC Equipoise Ltd. (ERCE). Highlights: The deterministic sum of the unrisked estimates of 2U1 net helium prospective resources in the report is 2.8 billion cubic feet ("Bcf") and the deterministic sum of the un risked 2U1 total gas prospective resources is 212.2 Bcf across the combined intervals of the Lake Bed Fm, Nsungwe Fm, Karoo Sandstone and weathered Basement. This demonstrates a 61% increase in the original resource estimate from the previous 2020 CPR completed by SRK Consulting (Australasia) Pty Ltd. The deterministic sum of the 3U2 net helium prospective resources is 7.1 Bcf in the ERCE report, which is a 30% increase from the previous 2020 CPR completed By SRK Consulting (Australasia") Pty Ltd. The deter deterministic sum of the un Risked 3U2 total gas prospective resources is 437.8 Bcf in the ERCE Report, which is a 294% increase from the previous 2020C completed by SRK Consulting (Australasia) Pty Ltd. These substantial increases are the result of more detailed interpretation of the additional 2D seismic data acquired across Tai in 2021, and the Company's improved understanding of the structural closure. The CPR will be available on the Company's website shortly. These results support the work completed by the Company's technical team and demonstrates technical competency in prospect maturation and identification. Tai remains the best-defined prospect within the Company's portfolio and highlights the opportunity to maximise the economic potential of helium in the Rukwa Basin. Helium One Global Ltd Announces Project Update Helium One Global has been informed that the current operator of the Exalo drill rig in southern Africa has amended their contract with Exalo to allow for an extension of their operations for a period of up to twelve-months. Through the execution of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding, announced on the November 22, the Company had understood that the Exalo rig was due to be mobilised to its Rukwa licence area in early 2023.
