He has undertaken exploration work in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Chile, the United States of America and various regions of Central America. Mr. Piggott has a wealth of experience in Mexico which has come through operating a number of gold mines in the region for nearly 10 years. He has been the Chairman of Goldgroup Mining Inc. since June 12, 2013. Mr. Piggott served as the Chairman of Sierra Minerals Inc. and served as its Director since August 24, 2006. He has been a Director of Goldgroup Mining Inc. since August 2006. He has been Non-Independent Director at Core Gold Inc. (formerly Dynasty Metals & Mining Inc.) since September 2016. Mr. Piggott served as an Independent Director at Morgain Minerals Inc. since May 31, 2005. Mr. Piggott obtained a Mining Engineering degree from the Camborne School of Mines in 1964 and completed the Executive Development Course at the London Business School in 1972.
