Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the ADF Group Inc. (TSE:DRX) Independent Director, Luc Reny, recently bought CA$81k worth of stock, for CA$8.08 per share. Nevertheless, it only increased their shareholding by a minuscule percentage, and it wasn't a massive purchase by absolute value, either.
The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At ADF Group
Notably, that recent purchase by Luc Reny is the biggest insider purchase of ADF Group shares that we've seen in the last year. That means that even when the share price was higher than CA$7.86 (the recent price), an insider wanted to purchase shares. Their view may have changed since then, but at least it shows they felt optimistic at the time. We always take careful note of the price insiders pay when purchasing shares. As a general rule, we feel more positive about a stock when an insider has bought shares at above current prices, because that suggests they viewed the stock as good value, even at a higher price. Luc Reny was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.
