In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Non-Independent Director, Ian Ferrier, sold AU$2.0m worth of shares at a price of AU$4.00 per share. So it's clear an insider wanted to take some cash off the table, even below the current price of AU$4.83. As a general rule we consider it to be discouraging when insiders are selling below the current price, because it suggests they were happy with a lower valuation. However, while insider selling is sometimes discouraging, it's only a weak signal. We note that the biggest single sale was only 6.8% of Ian Ferrier's holding. Notably Ian Ferrier was also the biggest buyer, having purchased AU$1.8m worth of shares.

Over the last year, we can see that insiders have bought 846.97k shares worth AU$1.8m. On the other hand they divested 719.99k shares, for AU$2.9m.
