Announces New Independent Director and Changes in Composition of Board Committees NetEase, Inc. announced that its board of directors has appointed Ms. Grace Hui Tang as a new independent director, effective as of July 1, 2022. Netease, Inc. Announces Resignation of Michael Tong from Its Board of Directors NetEase, Inc. announced that Mr. Michael Tong has resigned from its board of directors for personal reasons, effective immediately. Mr. Tong's resignation did not result from any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices. The Company's board now consists of six directors, five of whom are independent directors.
