The Enterprise segment provides mobile services; mobile lines and mobile device rental; fixed-line communications services, such as data communications and fixed-line telephone services; cloud, data center, security, global, AI /IoT, digital marketing, and other solution services; software-defined connected vehicles solutions; cloud services, security operation monitoring services, and IoT solutions; Linux/OSS, and authentication and security services. The Distribution segment offers cloud services, IoT solutions, and other areas for enterprise customers; mobile and PC peripherals, including accessories, as well as software, IoT products, and other items; cutting-edge products. The Media & EC segment provides media-related services, such as media and advertising, search, marketing solutions, vertical, content, and stamps; commerce-related services such as shopping services; reuse services; and O2O services; AI, healthcare, and other services. The Financial segment provides mobile payments and other electronic payment services; payment processing services including credit cards, electronic money, and QR codes; online securities trading service for smartphones. In addition, it offers planning and production of digital media and digital content. The company was formerly known as SoftBank Mobile Corp. and changed its name to SoftBank Corp. in May 2015. SoftBank Corp. was founded in 1986 and is based in Tokyo, Japan.
