Methes Energies International Ltd. Introduces Biodegradable/Bio-Based High Performance - High Oleic Hydraulic Fluids Methes Energies International Ltd. announced the introduction of their assortment of new high performance - high oleic biodegradable hydraulic fluids made with domestically sourced base stocks (bio-content) and branded as b2 biOil that includes AW-32, AW-46 and AW-68. These high oleic hydraulic fluids are specially formulated using advanced additive technology made with domestically harvested feedstocks and naturally bio-derived renewable compounds for all hydraulic systems when used as an energy transfer medium, including heat transfer, contamination removal, sealing and lubrications. The products provide extensive oxidation and corrosion protection, delivers extreme-pressure/anti-wear activity; and, demonstrates excellent performance in areas of demulsibility and foam while fully compatible with various OEM seal technologies. Unlike bar & chain oils, hydraulic fluids are not considered to be a "total loss application," but they can be susceptible to loss and spillage due to friction, viscosity and other factors while accidentally spilled due to broken pipes or other accidents. Bruce Marley with vast industry knowledge with over 30 years of experience in lubricants, base oils and chemicals will greatly assist organization to fully develop strategic road map and to execute against vison to become a leader in the environmentally friendly lubricants landscape. Mr. Marley, a well-known Industry veteran, has held various management and executive leadership roles for recognized leading global companies; Notably BP/Castrol, Anderol, Chemtura, Biosynthetic Technologies and most recently Chemtool/Lubrizol. Methes Energies International Ltd. Appoints Kenneth Lukins to Its Board of Directors On October 15, 2024, Methes Energies International Ltd. announced the appointment acceptance of Chief Kenneth Lukins, US Coast Guard (Retired) to the company's Board of Directors. In addition to accepting his appointment, Mr. Lukins' current roles include Managing Director of Lukins International and Vice Chairman of the Climate Change Forum (@ccforum). Chief Lukins spent over 20 years in the US Coast Guard specializing in oil and hazardous material response and clean up as well as a leader in law-enforcement, safety, occupational safety; and, health, drug enforcement, maritime security, anti-terrorism, emergency response, and hazardous materials operations. Ken also developed and implemented the Oil Spill Removal Operation Verification program for the US Coast Guard; and, was the response supervisor, responding to numerous incidents of national significance including the Exxon Valdez oil spill. In his Managing Director role at Lukins International, Ken continued this work in both the private and public sectors over the last 20 years. He has expanded his interest and work into an "earth-friendlier" agenda, focusing on a variety of sensitive environmental issues including climate change. As Vice Chairman of the Climate Change Forum, he leads multiple forums a year, bringing together a diverse yet complimentary group of thought leaders, environmental advocates, investors; and, entrepreneurs…all with the specific intent to identify, recognize and bring new innovative ideas and products into the climate change arena.
