Kongsberg Automotive ASA develops, manufactures, and sells products to the automotive industry worldwide. The company operates through Drive Control Systems (DCS) and Flow Control Systems (FCS) segments. The Drive Control Systems (DCS) segment engages in the designing and manufacturing of products for the automotive and the off-highway industry, including pneumatic and electric actuation systems for gear control and clutch actuation; steering column modules; and pedals and throttles for off-highway applications. The Flow Control Systems (FCS) segment designs and manufactures products for both the automotive and commercial vehicle markets, as well as industrial applications. This segment’s portfolio includes couplings for air brake and air suspension systems; and clean powertrain fluid assemblies, as well as chassis and battery coolant solutions. It serves original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers in commercial vehicle, off-highway, and passenger car markets. The company was formerly known as Kongsberg Automotive Holding ASA and changed its name to Kongsberg Automotive ASA in August 2014. Kongsberg Automotive ASA was founded in 1957 and is based in Kongsberg, Norway.
