Breathe BioMedical Inc., a development-stage medical technology company, focuses on developing a breath test to detect early-stage breast cancer in women. Its test consists of SohnoXB Breath Sampler, a tabletop device that is used to collect alveolar breath from patients; a breath collection kit to store the breath sample during transportation to its laboratory facilities; a spectrometer to process breath samples; and a machine learning algorithm to analyze the breath spectral data from the spectrometer. Breathe BioMedical Inc. was formerly known as Picomole Inc. and changed its name to Breathe BioMedical Inc. in November 2023. The company was incorporated in 2005 and is based in Moncton, Canada.
