It owns the Sohar 2 power plant with a power capacity of approximately 750 MW located in the Al Batinah region of the Sultanate of Oman. The company also sells the generated electrical energy to Nama Power and Water Procurement Company SAOC. Al Batinah Power Company SAOG was incorporated in 2010 and is based in Al Khuwair, Oman.
