SMN Power Holding SAOG, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the power generation and water desalination businesses in the Sultanate of Oman. It operates the Al Rusail plant, a natural gas-fired power plant with a capacity of 1,343 megawatts; and the Barka II plant, an independent water and power plant with a water production capacity of 120,000 cubic meters per day. The company was incorporated in 2011 and is based in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman. SMN Power Holding SAOG is a subsidiary of Oman United Insurance Company SAOG.
