In addition, the company engages in the exporting and importing of medicines, pharmaceutical materials, and medical equipment; provision of accommodation services, and commercial activities and services; buying and selling of optical, medical, dental, and hospital equipment; and repair and maintenance services for specialized medical equipment and machinery. The company was formerly known as Pharmaceutical and Medical Material and Equipments Joint Stock Company and changed its name to Traphaco Joint Stock Company in July 2001.
