As of December 31, 2023, the company operated approximately 980 daily departures to 160 destinations through a network of 400 non-stop routes; with an operating fleet of 181 aircraft and a passenger contractual fleet of 185 aircraft. The company was incorporated in 2008 and is headquartered in Barueri, Brazil. On May 28, 2025, Azul S.A. along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
