KCB Group PLC, together with its subsidiaries, provides corporate, investment, and retail banking services in Kenya, Tanzania, South Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It operates through four segments: Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury, and Mortgages. The company offers current accounts, savings and fixed deposits, consumer loans, and mortgages-based lending products to individuals. It also provides overdrafts; residential and commercial buildings, and other loans; credit facilities in local and foreign currencies for corporate customers; and investments in securities, as well as engages in the funds management activities. In addition, the company is involved in the trade finance and forex businesses; and participates in investments in treasury bills and bonds from the central banks. Further, it engages in property ownership and management, nominee, corporate social responsibility, asset management, and insurance brokerage businesses. Additionally, the company provides pay, save, and borrow solutions for individuals, micro, and small and medium sized enterprises; life and general insurance products, including medical, motor, crop, marine, and others; wealth management, advisory, and brokerage services; distribution of collective investment schemes; pension management services; and agency banking, social payments, revenue collection, and business solutions. KCB Group PLC was founded in 1896 and is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya.
