Green Technology Metals Limited Announces Appointment of Peter Nazareth to Chief Financial Officer, Effective August 17, 2026

Green Technology Metals Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Peter Nazareth as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with an effective start date August 17, 2026. Mr. Nazareth currently holds the role of Lead Principal Corporate Development at Fortescue, where he has focused on identifying, evaluating and delivering strategic growth opportunities across Fortescue's Metals portfolio since September 2025. Prior to this, Mr. Nazareth was Principal – Corporate Development at Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia (TLEA), the joint venture between Tianqi Lithium Corporation and IGO Limited that majority owns the Greenbushes Lithium mine and Kwinana lithium refinery. During his tenure at TLEA, he played a key role in evaluating strategic growth opportunities, leading transaction assessments, developing investment and life-of-mine financial models, preparing Board materials and supporting long-term capital allocation decisions of the business. Mr. Nazareth's earlier career included roles as Strategy & Corporate Development Manager at Orora Limited, Senior Manager – M&A and Transaction Services at Pitcher Partners, and positions in corporate finance at Lion Advisory and Deloitte. Mr. Nazareth is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ), holds a Masters in Accounting from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia. Mr. Nazareth's appointment as CFO is a non-Board role, and he holds no current directorships. As CFO, Mr. Nazareth will lead GT1’s finance function while also taking on a broader strategic role across capital markets, investor relations, corporate development and commercial strategy. His responsibilities will include deepening engagement with institutional investors, supporting the Company’s financing activities, assessing strategic partnerships and growth opportunities, and positioning GT1 to deliver its development strategy amid growing demand for secure, North American lithium supply.
