It also offers airport, medical, financial, IT, and other services; produces bioethanol products; and operates charging network for electric vehicles, as well as filling stations and distributes products to retail and wholesale customers. The company was founded in 1857 and is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. OMV Petrom S.A. operates as a subsidiary of OMV Aktiengesellschaft.
