This segment also includes platform, specialty, and emerging businesses, as well as repair and maintenance solutions. The Bearings & Industrial Solutions division develops, manufactures, and distributes rotary and linear bearing solutions, drive components and systems for industrial automation sectors, and service solutions. It also includes industrial, automotive, aerospace bearings, and linear motion. The company was formerly known as INA Beteiligungsgesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung and changed its name to Schaeffler AG in October 2014.
