Samsara Inc. Launches New AI Solutions for the Public Sector to Modernize Critical U.S. Infrastructure
Samsara Inc. announced three new purpose-built AI solutions to help government agencies and community organizations deliver critical services to constituents. Public sector organizations, from state and local government to K-12 school districts, can now leverage real-time data and AI to improve public safety, drive operational efficiencies, and build resilient infrastructure for long-term community success. The suite introduces three solutions designed to address the most pressing challenges facing government agencies: Ground Intelligence for Public Sector: Proactive road condition monitoring to protect communities before problems escalate. According to the 2025 American Society of Civil Engineers Report Card, approximately 39% of major U.S. roads remain in poor or mediocre condition. Congestion, wear and tear, and extreme weather continue to degrade pavement quality, costing the average driver over $1,400 per year in vehicle damage, operating costs, and lost time. Built on Samsara's network of billions of data points from vehicles across 99% of major U.S. roads, Ground Intelligence helps public works teams detect urgent conditions such as potholes and severe weather, before accidents occur. Ground Intelligence helps public sector leaders and maintenance managers: Reduce road risks with severity-based pothole mapping: Potholes cost the U.S. more than $750 million annually in material repair costs.
