Miata Metals Corp Reports Drill Results At Sela Creek Gold Project Miata Metals Corp. announce additional drill results from its ongoing, 25,000 m diamond drilling program at its Sela Creek Gold Project (‘Sela Creek’ or the ‘Project’) in Suriname.New drill results include 23.75 meters at 5.73 g/t gold, the highest-grade gold intercept drilled to date, from hole 26-DDH-008 in Jons Trend. This hole was drilled 250 m southeast of the discovery hole of 35.6m at 3.04 g/t gold, providing evidence that high gold grades continue along a corridor composed of stacked gold-bearing zones. The result significantly strengthens confidence in a continuous, mineralized corridor now defined over at least 750 metres long by 300 metres wide. Together with recent results at Big Berg, this intercept supports the presence of multiple mineralized centres within a continuous gold system at Sela Creek. Highlights: 26DDH-JT-008 intersected:23.75 m at 5.73 g/t Au from 82 m, including: 3.18 m at 16.35 g/t from 89 m1.65 m at 25.15 g/t from 94.75 m, and3.94 m at 9.46 g/t from 98 mAn additional broad zone of mineralization intersected in hole 26DDH-JT-009: 32.0 m at 1.29 g/t Au from 124 m, including: 9 m at 2.37 g/t from 138 m, and4.21 m at 2.45 g/t from 150.29 m26DDH-JT-008 was drilled in an area of sparse drilling 250 m SE of the main discovery zone, and is evidence of multiple high-grade zones of mineralization within Jons TrendDrilling confirms a structurally controlled gold-bearing vein system along a wide NW-SE trending corridor that is 750 m long by 300 m wide Results continue to support bulk-tonnage and high-grade potential at Jons Trend Mineralization remains open along strike and at depthMiata currently has two drill rigs actively turning on Sela Creek, enabling simultaneous expansion of Jons Trend and Big Berg and drilling of new targets such as Puma. Recent drilling at Jons Trend continues to define a coherent and expanding gold system characterized by broad zones of mineralization overprinted by higher-grade intervals. Drilling continues to intersect significant gold mineralization, highlighted by the Company’s strongest intercept to date: 23.75 m at 5.73 g/t Au in hole 26DDH-JT-008 from 82 m. This interval occurs within a wider mineralized envelope and is interpreted to represent a high-grade shoot within the system. The presence of these higher-grade zones within broader mineralization significantly enhances the overall potential of Jons Trend. Drilling across the central portion of Jons Trend (holes JT-007 to JT-010) has confirmed the continuity of mineralization along a 750 m northwest–southeast trending structural corridor, interpreted to be associated with extensive dilation across fold hinges and parallel shear zones. These holes intersected consistent mineralization within strongly altered and deformed host rocks, reinforcing the interpretation of a continuous orogenic gold system. Through step-out drilling the lateral extent of Jons Trend now appears to be well-defined over 300 m and systematic drilling continues towards the southeast, where drilling has established a minimum strike length of 700 m, and now a new high-grade zone. Ongoing drilling in Jons Trend aims to identify additional mineralized zones, increase the known depth of mineralization and extend the strike length. The continued advancement at Jons Trend, together with the recent success at Big Berg, reinforces a broader thesis emerging at Sela Creek: the presence of multiple mineralized centres within a large, underexplored gold system. Only a small portion of the broader mineralized corridor has been systematically drill tested to date, leaving substantial exploration upside across the Project. Aankondiging • Feb 24

Miata Metals Corp. Completes First Four Holes of Fully Funded 25,000 Metre Drill Program at Sela Creek Gold Project, Suriname Miata Metals Corp. announced that it has completed the first four holes of its fully funded 25,000-metre diamond drilling program at its Sela Creek Gold Project, located in Suriname. The 2026 drill program more than doubles the metres drilled during the Company's highly successful 2025 campaign and is designed to simultaneously advance the Jon's Trend gold system toward scale while aggressively testing multiple high-priority exploration targets across the broader Sela Creek project area. This program positions Miata to move from discovery success to scale and potential multi-zone growth in 2026. Fully funded 25,000-metRE diamond drill program has commenced, supported by two drill rigs. Occurrences of visible gold observed in the first two drill holes inspected to date (128.70 m and 132.20 m in 26DDH-JT-001 and 181.70 m in 26DDH- JT-002) within intervals of dense veining and elevated sulphide content. First Quarter 2026 drilling to prioritize expansion at Jons Trend and exploration drilling at Puma, Stranger, Golden Hand, Big Berg, and Howler. Vein array model and discoveries1 (left), and targets with proposed drilling. Approximately 12,500 metres are planned at Jon's Trend, where drilling in 2025 confirmed a broad, shallow-dipping, structurally controlled gold system extending over approximately 750 metres by 250 metres and remaining open along strike and at depth. Vis Visible gold at 181.70 m in 26 DDH-JT-002, showing a cluster of visible gold on the margin of a quartz vein. Sampling programs completed across the Sela Creek project area have successfully defined several priority gold targets based on a combination of geochemical anomalies, artisanal mining activity, and favourable structural features that control the geology. Chip and channel sampling focuses on potential structural controls such as fold hinges and shear zones, and alteration minerals characteristic of orogenic gold mineralization. Vein zone at Stranger Target, showing laminated veins adjacent to an intrusion. Drilling completed during the 2025 field season, particularly at the Puma target, led to a step-change in Miata's understanding of the structural framework controlling gold mineralization across the Sela Creek Gold Project. At Puma, drilling and surface mapping confirmed the presence of moderately plunging vein sets. This mineralization was projected from a nearby artisanal mining adit and led to a drill intercept of 5.3 m at 8.25 g/t gold in 25DDH-SEL-0301, with mineralization occurring within shallow to moderately dipping structural planes rather than as a single discrete vein. This observation and drill intercept demonstrated that intercept length and grade continuity are highly sensitive to drill orientation. As a result, Miata refined its drill targeting approach to optimize hole azimuths and dip angles, allowing drill holes to better test mineralized structures and to intersect multiple stacked zones where present. This refined approach was subsequently applied at Jon's Trend, and directly improved intercept lengths, gram-metre outcomes, and directly improved intercept length and grade continuity. Miata Metals Corp. Adds Additional Drill Rig and Increases Discovery Potential with Fully Funded 25,000 M Drill Program At the Sela Creek Gold Project Miata Metals Corp. announced the arrival of an additional drill rig at its Sela Creek Gold Project in Suriname, enabling a fully funded 25,000 m drill program planned for 2026. The expanded program builds on a highly successful 2025 campaign, during which Miata completed 10,061 m of drilling, achieved a 100% hit rate at the Jons Trend Zone, identified multiple new mineralized zones, and significantly increased operational efficiency across the project. Highlights: Miata achieved a 100% hit rate across drilling at Jons Trend; 10,061 m drilled in 2025 across 59 holes; Assay results for six drillholes at Jons Trend and six drillholes at Golden Hand remain pending; Targeting 25,000 m of drilling in 2026, with approximately 50% focused on Jons Trend and the other 50% dedicated toward six compelling discovery targets such as Puma East (5.3m at 8.25 g/t gold), Big Berg (14 m at 1.72 g/t gold), and Puma West (18m at 2.70 g/t gold); New Sandvik 710 track-mounted diamond rig has arrived on site, allowing two rigs to operate throughout 2026; On-site optimization continues with the construction of a prep lab, improved wet-season access and expanded fuel storage, all of which will further reduce the cost per metre drilled on Sela Creek. Additional Drill Rig Arrives on Sela Creek: The Company has deployed a third drill rig to Sela Creek, and expects to run two rigs continuously for the majority of 2026 while having a third available for optionality. With the two drill rigs, Miata expects to be able to comfortably drill 25,000 m in 2026. The Company can operate through both the dry and wet seasons. The Company works closely with Major Drilling, a reputable international Canadian drill-contractor with a branch of operations established in Suriname. Miata has completed an extensive surface program including measuring artisanal activity and the reinterpretation of historical geochemical and geophysical datasets, resulting in six prospects being advanced to drill-ready status for the first half of 2026. These prospects represent some of the most compelling targets on Sela Creek: Puma East:5.3 m at 8.25 g-t gold from 37.7 m; Puma West:18m at 2.70g/t gold from 5.60 m; Big Berg: 14 m at 1.72 g-t gold from 164 m; Howler, Stranger and Golden Hand, where drill targets are defined based on early-stage exploration work. Prospect areas on Sela Creek as re-defined by Miata's technical team, provide clear direction for the discovery drilling in 2026. These prospects will be drill-tested in parallel with a continued surface program to define further discovery drill targets. While this discovery program is ongoing, the Company will continue to delineate Jons Trend, which is emerging as a 750 x 250 m mineralized zone and remains open in all directions. The Company's discovery at Jon's Trend was a major de-risking event in 2025, with potential expansion of that zone being another catalyst for 2026. The Company has completed 10,061 mof drilling, of which 3,000m was completed in the last two months of drilling. This indicates the efficiency of the program has increased substantially from the start of drilling.
