Euroasia Terminal (Private) Limited and Sea Link Group Limited completed the acquisition of 80.52% stake in Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited (KASE:PICT) from International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (PSE:ICT) and Aeolina Investments Limited for PKR 56.2 million. Euroasia Terminal (Private) Limited and Sea Link Group Limited entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire 79.71% stake in Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited (KASE:PICT) from International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (PSE:ICT) and Aeolina Investments Limited for PKR 55.7 million on April 28, 2026. A cash consideration valued at PKR 0.64 per share will be paid by Euroasia Terminal (Private) Limited and Sea Link Group Limited.
In a related transaction Euroasia Terminal (Private) Limited and Sea Link Group Limited proposed to acquire 8.43% stake in Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited for approximately PKR 390 million. Following the completion of both the transactions Euroasia Terminal (Private) Limited and Sea Link Group Limited will own 83.41% stake and control Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited.
The transaction, structured under Pakistan’s Securities Act 2015 and takeover regulations, will be contingent on clearance from regulatory approvals, The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), and Competition Commission of Pakistan.
