Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated 28 October 2023 in relation to the resignation of Mr. CHEN Jizhong as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company. The retirement of Mr. CHEN Jizhong from his position as Independent Non-executive Director, chairman of the Risk Management and Related Party Transaction Control Committee and member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee under the Board of the Company took effect from 8 February 2024. Mr. CHEN Jizhong has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board of the Company and that there is no matter in respect of his retirement that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders and creditors of the Company.
