Microport Cardioflow Medtech Corporation Announces Board and Committee Changes, Effective June 4, 2026 MicroPort CardioFlow Medtech Corporation announced that Ms. Wu Xia ("Ms. Wu") retired as a non-executive Director with effect from the conclusion of the AGM on June 4, 2026 and did not offer herself for re-election at the AGM as disclosed in the Circular. Accordingly, Ms. Wu ceased to act as a member of the commercialization committee (the "Commercialization Committee") of the Company with effect from the conclusion of the AGM. The Board is also pleased to announce that Mr. Mao Junxiang ("Mr. Mao") has been appointed as an independent non-executive Director and a member of the Commercialization Committee, with effect from June 4, 2026. The biographical details of Mr. Mao are set out below: Mr. Mao, aged 54, has more than 30 years of experiences in banking and finance. Mr. Mao worked in multiple banks from 1996 to 2010, including Citibank (China) Co. Ltd. Shanghai Branch from December 1996 to March 2005, Societe Generale Asia Limited from April 2005 to May 2007, the Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch from May 2007 to July 2009, and Zhong De Securities Co. Ltd. from August 2009 to July 2010. He worked at Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited as the managing director of Hong Kong Capital Markets Coverage, from July 2010 to July 2024. He has been serving as an independent director of China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited since February 2025, and a panel member of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Appeal Board of Hong Kong since October 2025. In addition, he has been serving as a director of Guangzhou EHolly Intelligent Equipment Co. Ltd. since April 2026. Mr. Mao obtained the dual bachelor's degrees in management information systems and technology English from Tianjian University in the PRC in July 1993. MicroPort CardioFlow Medtech Corporation Announces Board Changes, Effective June 27, 2025 MicroPort CardioFlow Medtech Corporation announced that Dr. Ding Jiandong (Dr. Ding) retired as an independent non-executive Director with effect from the conclusion of the AGM and did not offer himself for re-election at the AGM as disclosed in the Circular. Accordingly, Dr. Ding ceased to act as a member of each of the audit committee (the Audit Committee) and nomination committee of the Company (the Nomination Committee) with effect from the conclusion of the AGM. Dr. Ding has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his retirement that needs to be brought to the attention of the Shareholders or the Stock Exchange. The Board announced that Dr. Hu Bingshan (Dr. Hu) has been appointed as an independent non-executive Director and a member of each of the Audit Committee and Nomination Committee, with effect from June 27, 2025 following the retirement of Dr. Ding. The biographical details of Dr. Hu are set out: Dr. Hu, aged 43, has successively served as associate professor and professor at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology since November 2016. His main research field is rehabilitation and nursing robotics. From October 2010 to November 2016, Dr. Hu worked as a space robotics systems engineer at the Shanghai Aerospace System Engineering Institute in the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. In 2015, he also served as a visiting scholar at the University of Hamburg in Germany. Dr. Hu serves as a committee member for the Sports Health and Industry Promotion Committee of China Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and other relevant academic organizations. He received the First Prize and the Second Prize of Science and Technology from the China Association of Rehabilitation Medicine in October 2023 and in September 2024, respectively. Dr. Hu has published more than 50 papers in internationally recognized journals or academic conferences. He is also an inventor or co-inventor of more than 70 Chinese and overseas patents. Dr. Hu received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and automation and his master's degree in power electronics and electric drives from Harbin University of Science and Technology in July 2003 and April 2006, respectively, and obtained his Ph.D. in mechatronic engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in December 2010. Dr. Hu shall only hold office until the next annual general meeting of the Company and will be eligible for and subject to re-election at such meeting in accordance with the articles of association of the Company.
