공시 • Nov 06Domino's Pizza Enterprises Reportedly Taps Morgan Stanley as Defence Adviser After Speculation SwirlsDomino's Pizza Enterprises Limited (ASX:DMP) has tapped investment bank Morgan Stanley as its defence adviser after speculation swirls that private equity is eyeing up the business. At least one private equity group is believed to be looking at a possible buyout of Domino's, with the latest name likely to be taking a look being Kohlberg Kravis Roberts out of New York. However, sources say Boston-based Bain Capital - a former master franchise holder - has carried out the most work. There’s been no discussion between Bain Capital or KKR with the Australian-listed Domino's despite the speculation. Whether groups have been in talks with the US headquarters is another story. Wall Street bank Morgan Stanley worked on Domino's -equity raising in 2022 when it secured $165m from investors for the purchase of shares in its joint venture in Germany and to pay down debt. The Australian reported in August that the pizza chain reported its first annual loss in 20 years. Mr. Cowin, a veteran businessman in the fast food industry, is working on improving the group's online channels and simplifying the menu to boost sales. The Australian-listed Domino's has seen its share price fall 50% this year.
