Axis Bank Limited Appoints Rajeev Mantri as Chief Financial Officer, Effective September 28, 2026 Axis Bank Limited informed that based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, the Board of Directors of the Bank at its meeting held on July 18, 2026, approved the appointment of Rajeev Mantri as the Chief Financial Officer of the Bank with effect from September 28, 2026. He would be part of the Senior Management of the Bank. He satisfies the qualifications/conditions prescribed under the Reserve Bank of India (Commercial Banks - Governance) Directions, 2025, for appointment of a CFO. Rajeev Mantri, age 49 years, is a seasoned financial services leader with nearly three decades of experience across banking, financial services, credit information, consumer goods and international financial institutions. Rajeev Mantri, as the Executive President and Chief Financial Officer at Bandhan Bank, leads all aspects of Finance and Strategy across a 150+ member team spanning financial planning and analysis, accounting, controls, reporting, balance sheet, capital and cost management, tax, procurement, payments and investor relations. He brings deep expertise in banking finance, strategy, regulatory engagement, and business transformation, built over a distinguished career across leading global and Indian banks including Citibank, Standard Chartered, and Mashreq across India, Singapore and UAE.
