FLSmidth & Co. A/S Announces Appointment of Lise Linnebjerg as Chief People Officer, Effective November 1, 2026 FLSmidth & Co. A/S announced the appointment of Lise Linnebjerg to its Executive Leadership Team as Chief People Officer. Lise will join FLSmidth on November 1, 2026. Until then, Prathima Adluri will continue to serve as Interim Chief People Officer. Following the appointment of Lise Linnebjerg as new Chief People Officer, the Executive Leadership Team will consist of the following members: Toni Laaksonen, Chief Executive Officer; Roland M. Andersen, Chief Financial Officer; Qasim Abrahams, President, Products Business Line; Petri Virrankoski, President, Service Business Line (joining during 2027); Pat Turner, President, Pumps, Cyclones & Valves Business Line; Line Berg Madsen, Group General Counsel (transitioning to a permanent position during Q3'26); Kristoffer Hessedahl, Chief Strategy & M&A Officer (joining no later than early 2027); Lise Linnebjerg, Chief People Officer (as of November 1, 2026). Lise joins FLSmidth from Vestas Wind Systems A/S (Vestas), where she has held a series of senior people and culture roles since 2019, most recently as Senior Vice President, People & Culture for Northern & Central Europe. Earlier in her career, Lise served as Senior Vice President, Global Talent Management at Vestas, following senior roles in global talent acquisition at both Vestas and Danfoss. FLSmidth & Co. A/S Announces Executive Changes FLSmidth & Co. A/S announced the appointment of Petri Virrankoski as President, Service Business Line. Petri is expected to join FLSmidth during 2027. Until then, Alanas Kraujalis will remain interim President, Service Business Line. Petri joins FLSmidth from Sandvik's Surface Drilling Division, where he has served as President and a member of Sandvik Mining's management team since 2019. Under his leadership, the division has undergone a major turnaround, resulting in significant market share gains, sales growth and improved profitability. Prior to his current role, Petri held several leadership roles in business development, sales and service at Sandvik Mining & Rock Technology, Sandvik Mining & Construction division and Hydroll Oy, where he drove strong sales growth and improvements in profitability, operations and commercial excellence. Flsmidth & Co. A/S Announces Executive Changes FLSmidth & Co. A/S announced two appointments to its Executive Leadership Team. Kristoffer Hessedahl is appointed Chief Strategy & M&A Officer and is expected to join FLSmidth by the end of 2026 or, at the latest, in early 2027. Line Berg Madsen is appointed Group General Counsel, transitioning from the interim role she has held since May 2026, and will transition into the permanent role during the third quarter of 2026. The Strategy & M&A role is a newly created executive position. The Group General Counsel role is elevated to the Executive Leadership Team. Kristoffer Hessedahl joins FLSmidth from Sandvik Mining, where he currently serves as Vice President, Strategy, M&A and Business Development and is part of the Business Area Mining Management team. In his current role, Kristoffer leads Sandvik Mining’s global strategy, M&A and business development agenda, including strategic planning, portfolio development, growth initiatives and executive decision support. Kristoffer brings extensive experience in strategy, M&A and business development from Sandvik Mining, Alantra and EY Corporate Finance. He holds an MSc in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School and a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from Lund University. Line Berg Madsen joined from the Danish law firm Kromann Reumert, where she had served as Partner and attorney since 2023, focusing on international trade, cross-border transactions and environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters. Earlier in her career, Line served as Partner at the Danish Law firm Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten, Director at PwC and held the role as Corporate Counsel at both Xellia Pharmaceuticals and VKR Holding A/S. She brings a proven track record in supporting global companies’ growth agendas, particularly in M&A and commercial contracts, whilst building a robust setup around internal procedures, compliance and risk management.
