Ayala Corporation Announces Executive Changes, Effective March 9, 2026
Ayala Corporation announced that its Board of Directors approved the appointment of Ms. Catherine H. Ang, the Corporation’s Chief Audit Executive, as Acting Comptroller of the Corporation, effective March 9, 2026. Ms. Josephine G. de Asis, the Corporation’s Comptroller, is unable to carry out the duties of the position at this time. The Board of Directors also approved the appointment of Ms. Roxanne Kate L. Petilla as Acting Chief Audit Executive, effective March 9, 2026. Catherine H. Ang, Filipino, 55, is a Managing Director and the Chief Audit Executive of Ayala Corporation since July 2013. She joined the Company in February 2012 as Head for Risk Management and Sustainability. Currently, she also holds the following positions: Director of Technopark Land Inc., Audit and Risk Committee Member of Healthway Philippines Inc., AC Health Pharma Ventures Group, AC Energy and Infrastructure Corporation, AC Infrastructure Holdings Corporation, AC Logistics Holdings Corporation, Ayala Multi-Purpose Cooperative, and Light Rail Manila Corporation. She was also a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc. until September 2025 and Generika Group (Actimed Inc., Erikagen Inc., Novelis Infrastructure Holdings Corporation, Pharm Gen Ventures Corp.) until February 2025. She is Treasurer, Board Trustee, and Teaching Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Philippines, a Board of Trustee of FINEX Foundation, and a member of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX). Ms. Ang previously served as Chair of the Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines and was a member of its Board from 2009 to 2014. She also served as Co-Chair of the Ethics & Governance Committee in 2025, Chair of the Good Governance Committee in 2023, Chair of Audit Committee from 2017-2019, and Vice Chair of Good Governance Committee from 2017-2018 of FINEX, Chair of Finance Committee of FINEX Foundation in 2016 and Chair of Scorecard Circle of ICD from 2015-2016. Prior to joining Ayala Corporation, she was Vice President and the Chief Audit Executive of Globe Telecom Inc. and earlier worked in Technology Services and Risk Management with PwC Singapore and SGV & Co. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors, a qualified Crisis Communication Planner, and holds an Associate (Level 1) Certification from Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI). She graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis College in 1991 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting. Roxanne Kate L. Petilla, Filipino, 37, is a Senior Internal Audit Manager of Ayala Corporation. She joined the company in March 2014. Prior to joining Ayala Corporation, she worked at PwC Philippines as Systems and Process Assurance Auditor and a System Compliance Auditor in Manila Teachers’ Savings and Loan Association Inc. Currently, she is also the Internal Audit Head of Liveit Investments Ltd. and its subsidiaries and all international companies of Ayala Corporation. Kate is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines. She previously served as the Chairperson of the Technology Committee of the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines in 2022-2023 and a Vice Chairperson in 2021. She also holds certifications in COBIT and ITIL Foundation, and she is a passer of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems certification. She graduated from Saint Louis University with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2010.
