I estimate that Gorman will trade at $45 per share by the end of the year due to my 2023 EBITDA estimate of $112 million and an EBITDA multiple of 14. The main risk is economic. If weakness occurs as it did in 2015 which led to a 30% drop in the stock, an investment in Gorman today will not do well. Seeking Alpha • Aug 08Gorman-Rupp: Further Upside After Strong Q2 ResultsSummary Gorman-Rupp’s backlog is right around a record high due to economic strength and its recent acquisition of Fill-Rite. With this acquisition, Gorman’s balance sheet is levered for the first time in over a decade. This could enhance returns or amplify losses if economic weakness occurs. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha
