The results demonstrate significant potential for the company's Advanced Driver Assistance System, BlincVision. The tests have been conducted at a Euro NCAP-approved test facility, meaning that these results directly contribute to Euro NCAP's ADAS rating methods for 2026. In the fall of 2023, company was granted funding from the innovation agency Vinnova. The funding entailed collaborating with AstaZero to develop new testing methods for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which have now been successfully implemented. The data generated validates the technology and enables the company to initiate in-car tests in the near future and continue the development of BlincVision. During the tests, relevant measurements have been carried out on an ongoing basis in areas such as latency, object identification, object classification, light conditions and eye safety, which have been successfully carried out and have generated important data for continued product development. The main purpose was to validate the functionality and capacity of the system in a controlled environment. Particularly satisfying was verifying unique and fast reaction time as well as a confirmation that the system works in different lighting conditions. The project, which runs throughout all of 2024, aims to improve traffic safety for unprotected road users by developing new testing methods and technologies for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The project includes six work packages to be carried out over the year 2024: Updating testing methods: Focuses on the obscured visibility of pedestrians, cyclists, and e-scooters at higher speeds and new impact points based on field data. Development of L2 scenarios: Targets scenarios where cyclists or e-scooters suddenly swerve in front of a car. Prototype integration in test vehicle: Implements the BlincVision prototype system in a test car at Revere at Chalmers, with mounting of testing equipment and driving robot done by AstaZero. Verification tests: Tests BlincVision and a ADAS system with the updated and new methods for validation and verification. Analysis and reporting: Compiles data and results from the tests. Pierre comes from the role of Vehicle line manager at Einride and has previous experience in technology and innovation development from, among others, Volvo Cars, SAAB Automobile, and Semcon. The employment starts on December 1st. Pierre brings over 20 years of experience from several companies in the automotive industry and has, among other things, worked as a function and component developer for sub-suppliers to vehicle manufacturers with a focus on autonomous vehicles and safety systems. Before his most recent role at Einride, Pierre worked as a Program launch manager within the company's global development operations and has worked with the launch and production of autonomous vehicles for the American and European markets. In the role of CTO & SVP of Engineering, Pierre will lead the company's technical development with the aim of taking BlincVision to market.

The purpose is to accelerate the product development of BlincVision, and the previously communicated timetable remains. A permanent replacement is expected to be in place shortly. Recruitment of a new CTO from the automotive industry is ongoing and is expected to be completed shortly. Until then, the development work is led by the CEO, Magnus Andersson together with external advisors, and the Company's Team Lead, who has extensive experience from the automotive industry's subcontractor Bosch.
