BoMill Launches New High-Capacity Configuration of BoMill InSight BoMill announced the launch of a new high-capacity configuration of BoMill InSight™, increasing the maximum sorting capacity from 15 up to 30 metric tons per hour while maintaining the same installation footprint. This reduces the investment cost per ton sorted and further strengthens the return on investment for customers. Developed in response to requests from existing and prospective customers, the new configuration enables large-scale in-line integration for flour mills, grain handlers and malthouses. Thanks to the modular design of the BoMill InSight™ platform, the new configuration will also be offered as an upgrade for existing installations. The new configuration accommodates up to 14 sorting units and features a new service-friendly design that allows each sorting unit to be easily slid from its operating position into a service position, simplifying cleaning and maintenance while minimizing downtime. The combination of the new frame design and the increased throughput of each sorting unit doubles the maximum sorting capacity to 30 metric tons per hour, enabling BoMill to address the needs of significantly larger grain processing facilities. By doubling the maximum capacity while maintaining the same platform footprint, customers can process substantially larger grain volumes with a lower investment cost per ton sorted. The new configuration is fully compatible with the existing BoMill InSight(TM) platform, enabling existing customers to upgrade their installed BoMill InSight(TM) systems to the new high-capacity configuration, including upgrades to both the sorting units and the frame. Since the new frame has the same footprint, upgrades are straightforward and cost-efficient without replacing previously purchased sorting units. Existing sorting units can be integrated directly into the new frame, providing a cost-effective path to increased capacity. This modular approach allows customers to expand capacity as their business grows while protecting previous investments and minimizing future upgrade costs. The new high-capacity configuration has been specifically developed to facilitate in-line installation in high-capacity grain processing facilities while preserving all the advantages of the BoMill InSight(TM) platform. By combining high throughput, modular scalability and precision through single kernel analysis, the solution enables customers to optimize utilization of wheat and barley, improve product consistency and maximize the value of every grain lot. BoMill InSight(TM) new configuration at a glance: Designed for in-line installation in flour mills, grain handlers and malthouses. Capacity of up to 30 metric tons per hour. Modular design with up to 14 sorting units. Same installation footprint with double the capacity. Fully compatible with existing BoMill InSight(TM) sorting units. Improved return on investment through higher capacity. Service-friendly design for simplified cleaning and maintenance. Upgrade to the new configuration is available for existing BoMill InSight(TM) installations. Proven single-kernel sorting technology based on Near-Infrared Transmittance (NIT). お知らせ • Jun 20
BoMill Launches APC Adaptive Protein Control Module Based On Near-Infrared Technology BoMill announced the launch of APC - Adaptive Protein Control, an add-on module based on near-infrared (NIR) technology enabling higher efficiency, real-time insights and validated protein content. With the modular design, the APC integrates seamlessly with BoMill InSight™. With its user-friendliness, the APC automatically adjusts according to desired protein content, improving sorting accuracy and providing valuable data insights. The automation reduces the need for manual protein analyses, minimizes the risk of human error enabling reliable 24/7 operation with minimal supervision. As part of the BoMill InSight sorting solution, this functionality maximizes yield, improves grain utilization and reduces waste, helping customers increase profitability while achieving a more efficient and sustainable production process. The APC supports both wheat and barley. The APC system has been developed in collaboration with GrainSense Oy, a Finnish agtech company specializing in advanced grain analysis solutions based on patented NIR sensor technology. Together with GrainSense, BoMill secured funding from the Eurostar program, enabling the development of this functionality. Through the collaboration, BoMill has integrated GrainSense technology into the BoMill InSight platform. The development has been completed and successfully commissioned at the customer site. BoMill Announces Launch of Bomill Insight Single BoMill announces the launch of BoMill InSight Single, a compact version of its proven BoMill InSight grain sorting platform. Targeting markets with reduced capacity needs, this addition to the company's portfolio makes BoMill's unique single-kernel sorting technology accessible to a broader range of users. Built on BoMill's proprietary Near Infrared Transmittance (NIT) technology, BoMill InSight analyzes and sorts grain kernel by kernel, based on protein content. It enables customers to precisely segregate wheat or barley and maximize value from every batch. With the introduction of BoMillInSight Single, BoMill offers a streamlined solution that integrates a single sorting unit into a newly designed compact frame. Designed for simplicity and efficiency With a sorting capacity of up to approximately 2 metric tons per hour and two output fractions, BoMill InSight Single is an efficient solution for reduced capacity applications. Based on BoMill's modular design, the sorting unit in BoMill InSight Single is the same as those used in the original BoMill InSight, delivering the same high-precision sorting performance. The unit can also be reused if capacity needs to increase. Like the original BoMill InSight, the solution is easy to operate via an intuitive touchscreen interface and integrates seamlessly into existing processing environments. Its compact design makes it particularly suitable for space-constrained facilities or testing environments. Delivering measurable valueBy enabling kernel-level sorting based on protein content, BoMill InSight Single helps customers: Upgrade lower-cost grain into higher-value fractions Recover value from out-of-specification batches Secure consistent access to specific quality profiles The solution supports both wheat and barley. Expanding access to BoMill technology: The original BoMill InSight system, equipped with eight sorting units, delivers a capacity up to 15 metric tons per hour. With BoMill InSight Single and its dedicated frame, the company continues to expand its offering to serve a wider range of customers across the grain value chain, from large farming operations and specialty processors to millers, maltsters, and grain terminals. お知らせ • Apr 03
