Ryoden Corporation Announces Change of Executives
Ryoden Corporation announced that Yasuhiro Shibata is a candidate for directorship, scheduled for June 24, 2025. Currently serving as a Senior Executive Officer in charge of financial strategy, accounting, and business management, he has held key positions in the company since joining in April 1991. Shibata's previous roles include Deputy General Manager of the Accounting & Finance Department in April 2016, Executive Officer and General Manager of the department in April 2023, and Senior Executive Officer & General Manager in June 2024. His new position as Director & Senior Executive Officer will further solidify his leadership within the company. In addition to Shibata’s promotion, several changes in executive officer positions will take effect on June 24, 2025. Kazumoto Yogosawa, who is currently the Director & Managing Executive Officer, will be promoted to Director & Senior Vice President, continuing his role of supervising administrative and strategic units while maintaining his responsibilities as the General Manager of the Corporate Strategic Planning Department. Shigechika Motoyama will move from Senior Executive Officer to Managing Executive Officer, and his duties will include overseeing the Device System Headquarters. Meanwhile, Norihiko Yamamoto will be elevated from Executive Officer to Senior Executive Officer and will remain the General Manager of the West Japan Executive Office. Similarly, Noriyuki Shimizu will be promoted from Executive Officer to Senior Executive Officer and will continue leading the Central Japan Executive Office. Additionally, as of April 1, 2025, the company will welcome new executive officers. Yuichiro Fujiyoshi will be appointed as Executive Officer and General Manager of the Business Strategy Division within the FA & Facilities System Business Headquarters. Harumitsu Aihara will also become an Executive Officer, taking on the role of General Manager of the DX Strategy Promotion Department, while maintaining his leadership of the IT Promotion Division. Lastly, Yuji Ishida will assume the role of Executive Officer and General Manager of the Planning Division within the Device System Headquarters. These changes reflect the company’s commitment to enhancing its leadership structure and strategic direction. After the changes on June 24, 2025, the management structure of the company will include the following key positions: Katsuyuki Tomizawa will serve as the Representative Director & President, overseeing the company’s overall operations. Shunichi Higashi will remain as a Director supervising business units, while Kazumoto Yogosawa will be appointed as Director & Senior Vice President, supervising administrative and strategic units, and will continue his role as General Manager of the Corporate Strategic Planning Department. Yasuhiro Shibata will transition to Director & Senior Executive Officer, in charge of financial strategy, accounting & finance, and business management, in addition to his ongoing position as General Manager of the Accounting & Finance Department. The board will also include several Outside Directors, such as Hideki Matsuo, Goro Fujiwara, and Yuka Ogasawara, as well as Audit & Supervisory Board Members like Noriko Sekiguchi and Thomas Witty. In the executive officer team, Yasumaru Tokiwa will remain as Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of the East Japan Executive Office. Shigechika Motoyama will take on the role of Managing Executive Officer in charge of device systems and the General Manager of the Device System Headquarters. Hiroshi Hiraide will serve as Senior Executive Officer in charge of general affairs and human resources, while Tetsuji Sorita will be Senior Executive Officer overseeing technology strategy, quality, and new business promotion. Keiichi Yaji will also be appointed Senior Executive Officer, overseeing the FA & Facilities System Business Headquarters and Engineering Division. Additional executive officers will include Shinji Inazawa, who will take on the role of Senior Executive Officer & Acting Officer in Charge of New Business Promotion, while managing both the New Business Promotion Department and New Business Development Department. Norihiko Yamamoto and Noriyuki Shimizu will continue in their roles as Senior Executive Officers, heading the West and Central Japan Executive Offices, respectively. Several new executive officers will join the team, including Takamasa Nitta, who will manage the Green System Headquarters, and Keiichi Akashi, who will oversee the Strategic Planning Bureau for the East Asia Market and serve as Chairman of Ryosho Electronics (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Koichi Imaishi will be in charge of the Human Resources Department, while Tomoyuki Sugai will manage the Sustainability Management Strategy Division. Naoki Kasano will head the FA & Facilities System Business Headquarters’ Facilities System Division, and Satoshi Asahina will manage the Device System Headquarters’ Device and Global Marketing Divisions. The team will also include Yuichiro Fujiyoshi, who will serve as Executive Officer and General Manager of the Business Strategy Division in the FA & Facilities System Business Headquarters, Harumitsu Aihara, overseeing the DX Strategy Promotion Department & IT Promotion Division, and Yuji Ishida, who will manage the Factory Automation Division within the FA & Facilities System Business Headquarters.
