If the tender offer is completed, the capital and business alliance between Fujifilm and Japan Tissue Engineering Co., Ltd. will be terminated and Japan Tissue Engineering Co., Ltd. will no longer be a consolidated subsidiary of Fujifilm. In this expanded role, the company noted, Rooney will report directly to Akimoto Uchikawa, who has been named President of the Materials Business. Steve will continue to be a Teijin Group Corporate Officer, while Uchikawa becomes a Teijin Group Executive Officer.
