Announces Results from Initial Sampling At the Gronne Bjerg Anorthosite Project and Commencement of Green Alumina TestworkHudson Resources Inc. provided initial sampling results on the Company's 100% held Gronne Bjerg (Green Mountain) anorthosite project ("Project") in Greenland. The Company has also commenced testwork to produce a green alumina for the aluminum industry. Hudson is continuing to support Neo North Star Resources Inc. in its development of the Sarfartoq REE project where the Company has an interest. The Gronne Bjerg project, which was staked by Hudson in 2021, is approximately 80 km from Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, and favourably located on open tidewater. Hudson first sampled the Gronne Bjerg project in 2012 as part of a regional sampling program to identify the highest quality anorthosite targets in Greenland. This initial high-level sampling provided the best results of all anorthosites sampled, however the area was not available for staking at the time. In the fall of 2022, Hudson conducted a reconnaissance program at Gronne Bjerg which included the collection of 29 samples from outcrop over an area of 3.9 square kilometers. The samples were sent to ALS Laboratories in Canada for analysis and the results demonstrated a high aluminum content, low impurities, and excellent continuity over the area sampled. The average analysis for key elements for all the samples are as follows: Al(2) O(3) (al aluminum oxide): 32.06%; SiO(2) (silicodioxide): 47.24%; CaO (calcium oxidede): 14.98%; Na(2) O (sodium oxide): 2.27%; Fe(2) O(3). Based ot the high chemical quality of anorthosite sampled, Hudson has initiated a testwk program at SGS Lakefield in Canada to produce a green waste-free smelter grade alumina utilizing the flowsheet developed by the Company from 2013 through 2015. This significant testwork culminated in a robust Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for specialty alumina production. The PEA demonstrated that a quality alumina product can be made while producing zero tailings and only useful by-products, compared to bauxite which produces almost four tonnes of caustic tailings per tonne of aluminum. The SGS testwork program will take approximately four months to complete with the objective of producing green alumina suitable as a feed material for aluminum producers. The Company is in discussions with industrial and technology groups to potentially partner on green alumina and green cement projects. This aligns perfectly with Hudson's core values in the creation of green products that they believe will attract ESG investors. Green Aluminum Hudson strongly believes that anorthosite is the future for green aluminium production which will increasingly be demanded by consumers. Global aluminum demand is expected to increase by almost 40 per cent by 2030 (CRU Report, May 2022). A recent World Bank report described aluminum as crucial for the energy transition as the metal is critical to solar power panels and electric vehicles. The amount of aluminum used in European cars increased by 18% from 174kg in 2019 to 205kg in 2022 according to automotive consultancy Ducker Carlisle (Mining.comMay 2023). The report predicts this trend will continue to increase to 256kg per vehicle by 2030. China currently accounts for 58% of global output of aluminum. Europe has traditionally relied on Russia for aluminum supply.CO2 Free Cement In 2016/2017 Hudson completed successful testwork to produce a CO2 free, heat resistant (refractory) and acid resistant white cement (see NR2018-01). The work was carried out at the University of British Columbia Ceramics and Refractories Research and Testing Laboratory. Hudson plans to commence additional testwork on cement application in 2023 and is in discussions with a number of research facilities capable of executing a testwork program.Neo North Star Resources Inc. Post completion of the acquisition, Neo will assign its rights under the Agreement to an SPE controlled by Neo that would hold the License and continue exploration and ultimately extraction of the rare earth elements on the Project. Reports Production of 55.3% Niobium Concentrate from the Nukittooq Project in GreenlandHudson Resources Inc. announced results of independent metallurgical testwork conducted on the high-grade Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project in Greenland which is owned 100% by Hudson Resources Inc. The testwork, conducted by SGS Canada Inc. in its Lakefield, Ontario facility, under the supervision of Hudson’s senior consulting metallurgist, John Goode, achieved a niobium (Nb) concentrate assaying 55.3% Nb2O5 at a 66.6% global recovery along with 65% of the tantalum (Ta). A Composite sample used in the metallurgical test program assayed 22.3% Nb2O5 and 0.3% Ta2O5. The Composite sample was comprised of thirty-five samples collected from the Nukittooq project in September 2020 which averaged 19.35% Nb2O5 over 112 meters. The Nukittooq deposit has some of the highest reported niobium assays in the industry. QEMSCAN analysis indicated that the Composite sample consisted of pyrochlore (37.3%) (including traces of tentatively identified columbite), aegirine (33.3%), K-feldspars (21.9%), biotite (5.4%), and trace amounts of other minerals (ca. 2%). The major gangue elements in the Composite sample were 36.7% SiO2, 11.5% Fe2O3, and 4.27% K2O. Rare earth minerals (REM) including synchysite/parisite and bastnaesite were also present in trace amounts. The metallurgical testwork methods conducted by SGS demonstrated the following: Wet high-intensity magnetic separation (WHIMS): Conducted at 5,000 Gauss on the Composite sample ground to 80% passing 144 µm removed 48% of the aegirine with 8.5% niobium loss. K-feldspar generally followed pyrochlore to the non-magnetic products. Gravity concentration: This showed limited effectiveness. However, the use of WHIMS together with a Mozley shaking table on the non-magnetic fraction showed some promise. A combined niobium concentrate assaying 55.6% Nb2O5 at 47.6% global recovery was produced. Flotation: Seven open-circuit flotation tests were performed on stage-ground and deslimed feed material. These tests examined a number of procedures, depressants and collectors. SGS’s extensive experience with pyrochlore flotation allowed rapid development of a circuit comprising WHIMS for early rejection of aegirine followed by rougher flotation using a blend of Aero6494+F3900+Pb2+ which selectively floated pyrochlore from K-feldspar. The rougher concentrate was divided into coarse and fine fractions and separate roughing and cleaning systems, using an amine collector, applied to each stream. The combined niobium concentrate contained 55.3% Nb2O5 at 66.6% global recovery. Hudson owns 100% of the high-grade Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project and the Sarfartoq rare earth element project which are both located on the Sarfartoq exploration license in southwestern Greenland. The Sarfartoq REE project has a 43-101 indicated and inferred resource outlining 35,000 tonnes of neodymium oxide plus praseodymium oxide, the two key components in permanent magnets driving the green revolution. The Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project has some of the highest reported niobium assays in the industry with potential to extend the strike length of this largely unexplored target. Hudson also has a 31.1% equity interest in the White Mountain anorthosite mine and rights to acquire 100%.お知らせ • Jul 23Hudson Provides Update on Niobium Metallurgical Program and Proposed Legislative Changes in GreenlandHudson Resources Inc. provide an update on the niobium metallurgical program on the Company’s Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project and provide comments on the legislation being proposed for uranium extraction by the recently elected Government in Greenland. The Government of Greenland recently prepared a draft Bill to ban uranium prospecting, exploration, and exploitation. The draft Bill has been introduced to seek a zero-tolerance policy on the mining and sale of uranium. The ban does not cover other radioactive elements such as thorium, although the proposed Bill gives the Government the option to extend this to other radioactive elements. The draft Bill provides that it is at the Government’s discretion as to whether they approve a project based on how uranium waste is handled. Hudson is encouraged to see that Section 3.4 of the draft Bill states that the new Act would only apply to licenses granted after the Act is promulgated. The draft Bill specifically states that licenses already granted will not be affected by the new legislation. The Greenland government has initiated a consultation process which closes on August 2, 2021 and in which Hudson will participate. Hudson’s Sarfartoq rare earth element (“REE”) project and Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project were granted an exploration license in 2020. The license does not provide any rights to radioactive elements. The work to date has shown that the Sarfartoq REE project does not contain elevated levels of uranium. The Nukittooq project does have uranium values above background levels and the Company will investigate how the uranium will be handled within Government guidelines. In addition, Hudson’s projects are not located near any communities in Greenland and therefore the Company believes that the development of these projects can be done safely and within government guidelines. The testwork is being undertaken at SGS Lakefield, Canada, on high-grade niobium tantalum grab samples collected in 2020, under the supervision of Hudson’s consulting Metallurgist, John Goode. The Nukittooq project occurs within the 100% owned exploration license that covers the Sarfartoq Carbonatite Complex in southeast Greenland. This exploration license also hosts the Company’s ST1 rare earth element project where Hudson has completed a NI 43-101 Technical Report which outlined a resource of 24 million kg of neodymium oxide and 8 million kg of praseodymium oxide, the two key components in permanent magnets which are driving the green economy. Neodymium oxide is currently trading at over USD 100/kg. The carbonatite complex remains largely unexplored. Hudson assayed 35 grab samples from the Nukittooq project with an average grade of 19.35% Nb2O5, 0.27% Ta2O5, 0.38% U3O8 over 112 meters, including 12 grab samples over a 30-meter section with an average grade of 32.35% Nb2O5. Hudson has to date identified several high-grade niobium occurrences within a one-kilometer square zone. This zone will be further evaluated during the Company’s 2021 field program with the objective of outlining drilling targets. Mineralogical work, which included ore microscopy and QEMSCAN, was recently completed by SGS on grab samples from the Nukittooq project. This work provided very encouraging results with respect to liberation characteristics of the niobium – tantalum minerals and the potential for coarser grinding versus fine grinding for optimum mineral separation which may benefit project economics. Metallurgical testwork currently underway at SGS includes: Stage-grinding and de-sliming, Low-intensity magnetic separation (to reject iron minerals), Gravity separation, Magnetic separation, Batch flotation testing. Niobium and tantalum are vital to a wide range of products in the energy, infrastructure, transportation, medical and defense sectors. The United States and European Union have designated niobium and tantalum as critical to their security and wellbeing. The niobium price has averaged USD 42/kg over the past five years with expected demand growth of 8%/annum. Tantalum currently trades at USD 150/kg. The Company is also advancing its 100% owned Sarfartoq REE project and is currently selecting a laboratory to undertake additional metallurgical flow sheet testwork. The niobium project is called Nukittooq which means “strong man” in Greenlandic to reflect the key characteristic of niobium as a strengthener of steel. Hudson collected 38 samples from outcrop on the Project area (NR2020-13) which sits on the southern margin of the large Sarfartoq Carbonatite Complex which also hosts the Company’s ST1 Rare Earth Element (“REE”) deposit. A total of 35 grab rock samples were taken from the outcrop approximately every three meters along the 112 meters of the roughly east-west trending structure that is coincident with an elevated radiometric anomaly. Three additional samples were also collected for mineralogical work along the same outcrop. The mineral of economic interest in the Project area is pyrochlore (Na, Ca)2Nb2O6(OH,F), a sodium - calcium niobate with common but minor substitution by tantalum, titanium, and uranium. The Nukittooq project is one of several niobium targets within a one square kilometer area that the Company is evaluating. The targets have similar geology supported by historical high-grade niobium assays. Pyrochlore mineralization at Nukittooq occurs as massive replacement, thin veins and disseminations within dilational zones of shear/breccia structures that cut Precambrian granite gneiss and diabase dikes. The pyrochlore is co-crystalline with aegirine, alkali feldspar, and ferric-biotite formed during metasomatism and mineralization by ultra-alkaline (fenite) solutions and coeval with dolomitic carbonatite stringers and veinlets. Some of the pyrochlore has undergone remobilization during later hydrothermal activity as evidenced by alteration overprinting. The program, conducted by the Danish Technological Institute (DTI) in Copenhagen, focused on three high-pot potential product lines: Very low CO2 refractory cement, 3D printable anorthosite cement-based mortar formulations, and Very low CO2 concrete niche applications. DTI's testwork utilized 100% anorthosite in various size fractions, mixed with phosphoric acid (H3PO4) at varying concentrations to produce materials that were tested for performance across multiple applications. Fresh and mechanical properties were also evaluated to assess commercialization potential. Unlike Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), AnorTech's process does not require clinker production, which emits approximately 0.9 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of OPC. As a result, AnorTech's cement applications can eliminate approximately 90% of CO2 emissions. Refractory Cement Testwork Highlights: Successfully cast anorthosite mortar prisms that withstanding multiple heating cycles at 1,200 degC for five hours without compromising structural integrity; Compressive strength was maintained, or even slightly increased, after thermal heating cycles with post-treatment strength exceeding 25.0 MPa; Two large slabs (10cm thick) were cast for extended refractory testing. AnorTech’s proprietary process meets the specifications of the major aluminum producers while eliminating tailings. The only byproducts of amorphous silica and calcium silicate are fully saleable. The patent application covers key innovations including iron reduction, aluminum chloride hexahydrate precipitation, and calcination. The aluminum industry currently depends on SGA derived from bauxite ore for aluminum production. The bauxite ore is processed using the Bayer process and in 2023 this yielded over 125 Mt/a of alumina (Al2O3), most of which was converted into aluminum metal using the Hall–Héroult smelting process. However, in 2023 this method also generated more than 175M tonnes of caustic red mud tailings, a major environmental challenge. The Company has delivered 25 tonnes of crushed anorthosite from its 100% owned Gronne Bjerg anorthosite project in Greenland to Ontario, Canada, in preparation for the pilot plant testing. AnorTech is also exploring partnerships with industry leaders to accelerate the commercialization of its technology.

Announces Results from Initial Sampling At the Gronne Bjerg Anorthosite Project and Commencement of Green Alumina TestworkHudson Resources Inc. provided initial sampling results on the Company's 100% held Gronne Bjerg (Green Mountain) anorthosite project ("Project") in Greenland. The Company has also commenced testwork to produce a green alumina for the aluminum industry. Hudson is continuing to support Neo North Star Resources Inc. in its development of the Sarfartoq REE project where the Company has an interest. The Gronne Bjerg project, which was staked by Hudson in 2021, is approximately 80 km from Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, and favourably located on open tidewater. Hudson first sampled the Gronne Bjerg project in 2012 as part of a regional sampling program to identify the highest quality anorthosite targets in Greenland. This initial high-level sampling provided the best results of all anorthosites sampled, however the area was not available for staking at the time. In the fall of 2022, Hudson conducted a reconnaissance program at Gronne Bjerg which included the collection of 29 samples from outcrop over an area of 3.9 square kilometers. The samples were sent to ALS Laboratories in Canada for analysis and the results demonstrated a high aluminum content, low impurities, and excellent continuity over the area sampled. The average analysis for key elements for all the samples are as follows: Al(2) O(3) (al aluminum oxide): 32.06%; SiO(2) (silicodioxide): 47.24%; CaO (calcium oxidede): 14.98%; Na(2) O (sodium oxide): 2.27%; Fe(2) O(3). Based ot the high chemical quality of anorthosite sampled, Hudson has initiated a testwk program at SGS Lakefield in Canada to produce a green waste-free smelter grade alumina utilizing the flowsheet developed by the Company from 2013 through 2015. This significant testwork culminated in a robust Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for specialty alumina production. The PEA demonstrated that a quality alumina product can be made while producing zero tailings and only useful by-products, compared to bauxite which produces almost four tonnes of caustic tailings per tonne of aluminum. The SGS testwork program will take approximately four months to complete with the objective of producing green alumina suitable as a feed material for aluminum producers. The Company is in discussions with industrial and technology groups to potentially partner on green alumina and green cement projects. Green Aluminum Hudson strongly believes that anorthosite is the future for green aluminium production which will increasingly be demanded by consumers. Global aluminum demand is expected to increase by almost 40 per cent by 2030 (CRU Report, May 2022). A recent World Bank report described aluminum as crucial for the energy transition as the metal is critical to solar power panels and electric vehicles. The amount of aluminum used in European cars increased by 18% from 174kg in 2019 to 205kg in 2022 according to automotive consultancy Ducker Carlisle (Mining.comMay 2023). The report predicts this trend will continue to increase to 256kg per vehicle by 2030. China currently accounts for 58% of global output of aluminum. Europe has traditionally relied on Russia for aluminum supply.CO2 Free Cement In 2016/2017 Hudson completed successful testwork to produce a CO2 free, heat resistant (refractory) and acid resistant white cement (see NR2018-01). Reports Production of 55.3% Niobium Concentrate from the Nukittooq Project in GreenlandHudson Resources Inc. announced results of independent metallurgical testwork conducted on the high-grade Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project in Greenland which is owned 100% by Hudson Resources Inc. The testwork, conducted by SGS Canada Inc. in its Lakefield, Ontario facility, under the supervision of Hudson’s senior consulting metallurgist, John Goode, achieved a niobium (Nb) concentrate assaying 55.3% Nb2O5 at a 66.6% global recovery along with 65% of the tantalum (Ta). A Composite sample used in the metallurgical test program assayed 22.3% Nb2O5 and 0.3% Ta2O5. The Composite sample was comprised of thirty-five samples collected from the Nukittooq project in September 2020 which averaged 19.35% Nb2O5 over 112 meters. The Nukittooq deposit has some of the highest reported niobium assays in the industry. QEMSCAN analysis indicated that the Composite sample consisted of pyrochlore (37.3%) (including traces of tentatively identified columbite), aegirine (33.3%), K-feldspars (21.9%), biotite (5.4%), and trace amounts of other minerals (ca. 2%). The major gangue elements in the Composite sample were 36.7% SiO2, 11.5% Fe2O3, and 4.27% K2O. Rare earth minerals (REM) including synchysite/parisite and bastnaesite were also present in trace amounts. The metallurgical testwork methods conducted by SGS demonstrated the following: Wet high-intensity magnetic separation (WHIMS): Conducted at 5,000 Gauss on the Composite sample ground to 80% passing 144 µm removed 48% of the aegirine with 8.5% niobium loss. K-feldspar generally followed pyrochlore to the non-magnetic products. Gravity concentration: This showed limited effectiveness. However, the use of WHIMS together with a Mozley shaking table on the non-magnetic fraction showed some promise. A combined niobium concentrate assaying 55.6% Nb2O5 at 47.6% global recovery was produced. Flotation: Seven open-circuit flotation tests were performed on stage-ground and deslimed feed material. These tests examined a number of procedures, depressants and collectors. SGS’s extensive experience with pyrochlore flotation allowed rapid development of a circuit comprising WHIMS for early rejection of aegirine followed by rougher flotation using a blend of Aero6494+F3900+Pb2+ which selectively floated pyrochlore from K-feldspar. The rougher concentrate was divided into coarse and fine fractions and separate roughing and cleaning systems, using an amine collector, applied to each stream. The combined niobium concentrate contained 55.3% Nb2O5 at 66.6% global recovery. Hudson owns 100% of the high-grade Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project and the Sarfartoq rare earth element project which are both located on the Sarfartoq exploration license in southwestern Greenland. The Sarfartoq REE project has a 43-101 indicated and inferred resource outlining 35,000 tonnes of neodymium oxide plus praseodymium oxide, the two key components in permanent magnets driving the green revolution. The Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project has some of the highest reported niobium assays in the industry with potential to extend the strike length of this largely unexplored target. Hudson also has a 31.1% equity interest in the White Mountain anorthosite mine and rights to acquire 100%.
お知らせ • Jul 23Hudson Provides Update on Niobium Metallurgical Program and Proposed Legislative Changes in GreenlandHudson Resources Inc. provide an update on the niobium metallurgical program on the Company’s Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project and provide comments on the legislation being proposed for uranium extraction by the recently elected Government in Greenland. The Government of Greenland recently prepared a draft Bill to ban uranium prospecting, exploration, and exploitation. The draft Bill has been introduced to seek a zero-tolerance policy on the mining and sale of uranium. The ban does not cover other radioactive elements such as thorium, although the proposed Bill gives the Government the option to extend this to other radioactive elements. The draft Bill provides that it is at the Government’s discretion as to whether they approve a project based on how uranium waste is handled. Hudson is encouraged to see that Section 3.4 of the draft Bill states that the new Act would only apply to licenses granted after the Act is promulgated. The draft Bill specifically states that licenses already granted will not be affected by the new legislation. The Greenland government has initiated a consultation process which closes on August 2, 2021 and in which Hudson will participate. Hudson’s Sarfartoq rare earth element (“REE”) project and Nukittooq niobium-tantalum project were granted an exploration license in 2020. The license does not provide any rights to radioactive elements. The work to date has shown that the Sarfartoq REE project does not contain elevated levels of uranium. The Nukittooq project does have uranium values above background levels and the Company will investigate how the uranium will be handled within Government guidelines. In addition, Hudson’s projects are not located near any communities in Greenland and therefore the Company believes that the development of these projects can be done safely and within government guidelines. The Company will continue to advance the Sarfartoq REE and niobium-tantalum projects which are vital in supporting the green economy in Europe and North America.

The testwork is being undertaken at SGS Lakefield, Canada, on high-grade niobium tantalum grab samples collected in 2020, under the supervision of Hudson’s consulting Metallurgist, John Goode. The Nukittooq project occurs within the 100% owned exploration license that covers the Sarfartoq Carbonatite Complex in southeast Greenland. This exploration license also hosts the Company’s ST1 rare earth element project where Hudson has completed a NI 43-101 Technical Report which outlined a resource of 24 million kg of neodymium oxide and 8 million kg of praseodymium oxide, the two key components in permanent magnets which are driving the green economy. Neodymium oxide is currently trading at over USD 100/kg. The carbonatite complex remains largely unexplored. Hudson assayed 35 grab samples from the Nukittooq project with an average grade of 19.35% Nb2O5, 0.27% Ta2O5, 0.38% U3O8 over 112 meters, including 12 grab samples over a 30-meter section with an average grade of 32.35% Nb2O5. Hudson has to date identified several high-grade niobium occurrences within a one-kilometer square zone. This zone will be further evaluated during the Company’s 2021 field program with the objective of outlining drilling targets. Mineralogical work, which included ore microscopy and QEMSCAN, was recently completed by SGS on grab samples from the Nukittooq project. This work provided very encouraging results with respect to liberation characteristics of the niobium – tantalum minerals and the potential for coarser grinding versus fine grinding for optimum mineral separation which may benefit project economics. Metallurgical testwork currently underway at SGS includes: Stage-grinding and de-sliming, Low-intensity magnetic separation (to reject iron minerals), Gravity separation, Magnetic separation, Batch flotation testing. Niobium and tantalum are vital to a wide range of products in the energy, infrastructure, transportation, medical and defense sectors. The United States and European Union have designated niobium and tantalum as critical to their security and wellbeing. The niobium price has averaged USD 42/kg over the past five years with expected demand growth of 8%/annum. Tantalum currently trades at USD 150/kg. The Company is also advancing its 100% owned Sarfartoq REE project and is currently selecting a laboratory to undertake additional metallurgical flow sheet testwork. The testwork objectives are to further improve rare earth concentrate grades and recoveries and will take advantage of recent advances in metallurgy and hydrometallurgy as well as new developments in reagents and technology. Previous metallurgical testwork utilizing acid baking and leach tests confirmed 94% recovery of rare earths and the ability to make a 45% REO carbonate product. The White Mountain mine has recommenced operations with the commissioning of the rotary drum dryer completed. This allows for year-round operations and is expected to improve production parameters. The mine is currently operating on a 12-hour shift with a crew of 15 people. Covid-19 restrictions are still in place with only minor impacts on the operations to date.

お知らせ • Dec 15Hudson Resources Reports Assays from 35 Grab Samples Returning an Average of 19.35% Nb2O5 Along A 112 Meter Mineralized Structural Zone At the Nukittooq Niobium Project in West GreenlandHUDSON RESOURCES INC. announced that it has received the assays from its niobium and tantalum exploration project (the “Project”) located in its wholly owned Sarfartoq exploration license in southwestern Greenland. The niobium project is called Nukittooq which means “strong man” in Greenlandic to reflect the key characteristic of niobium as a strengthener of steel. Hudson collected 38 samples from outcrop on the Project area (NR2020-13) which sits on the southern margin of the large Sarfartoq Carbonatite Complex which also hosts the Company’s ST1 Rare Earth Element (“REE”) deposit. A total of 35 grab rock samples were taken from the outcrop approximately every three meters along the 112 meters of the roughly east-west trending structure that is coincident with an elevated radiometric anomaly. Three additional samples were also collected for mineralogical work along the same outcrop. The mineral of economic interest in the Project area is pyrochlore (Na, Ca)2Nb2O6(OH,F), a sodium - calcium niobate with common but minor substitution by tantalum, titanium, and uranium. The Nukittooq project is one of several niobium targets within a one square kilometer area that the Company is evaluating. The targets have similar geology supported by historical high-grade niobium assays. Pyrochlore mineralization at Nukittooq occurs as massive replacement, thin veins and disseminations within dilational zones of shear/breccia structures that cut Precambrian granite gneiss and diabase dikes. The pyrochlore is co-crystalline with aegirine, alkali feldspar, and ferric-biotite formed during metasomatism and mineralization by ultra-alkaline (fenite) solutions and coeval with dolomitic carbonatite stringers and veinlets. Some of the pyrochlore has undergone remobilization during later hydrothermal activity as evidenced by alteration overprinting. Niobium and tantalum are vital to a wide range of products in the energy, infrastructure, transportation, medical and defense sectors. The EU and the United States have designated niobium and tantalum as critical to their security and wellbeing. There are only three primary producers of niobium in the world with typical mine grades ranging from 0.56% Nb2O5 to 2.5% Nb2O5. The niobium price has averaged USD 42/kg over the past five years with expected demand growth of 8%/annum. Tantalum currently trades at USD 150/kg. The grab samples were analysed by SGS Lakefield, Canada, and the laboratory has commenced mineralogical work, including QEMSCAN and microprobe analysis, which will assist to drive a metallurgical testwork program.
