New major risk - Shareholder dilution The company's shareholders have been substantially diluted in the past year. Increase in shares outstanding: 350% This is considered a major risk. Shareholder dilution occurs when there is an increase in the number of shares on issue that is not proportionally distributed between all shareholders. Often due to the company raising equity capital or some options being converted into stock. All else being equal, if there are more shares outstanding then each existing share will be entitled to a lower proportion of the company's total earnings, thus reducing earnings per share (EPS). While dilution might not always result in lower EPS (like if the company is using the capital to fund an EPS accretive acquisition) in a lot cases it does, along with lower dividends per share and less voting power at shareholder meetings. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risks Less than 1 year of cash runway based on free cash flow trend (-kr52m free cash flow). Share price has been highly volatile over the past 3 months (19% average weekly change). Earnings have declined by 15% per year over the past 5 years. Shareholders have been substantially diluted in the past year (350% increase in shares outstanding). Market cap is less than US$10m (€4.80m market cap, or US$5.24m). Bioservo Technologies AB (Publ) Announces Carbonhand 2.0 Approves Medical Device According to the EU-MDR For people with impaired hand function, a new aid is now coming onto the market. The grip-strengthening glove Carbonhand® from Bioservo is now classified and approved as a medical device according to the European Medical Device Regulation (EU-MDR), which means that Carbonhand 2.0 can go on sale in Europe. fter intensive development work, as well as passing safety tests carried out by an independent test house, Carbonhand 2.0 is now approved as a medical technical assistive device according to current regulations in Europe. In order to obtain this approval, Bioservo has worked for a long period with solid quality certification work according to ISO13485, and during the development work of the new generation of Carbonhand ensured that all applicable standards in the field are complied with. Bioservo can now start sales to distributors and end users within the EU as well as the countries that accept UE-MDR as a regulatory approval in their market. The system learns what the user does and adapts the behavior to the user's needs. Annuncio • Sep 15
Bioservo Technologies AB (publ) Launches New Assistive Aid for People with Impaired Hand Function Bioservo Technologies AB (publ) launched brand new assistive aid for people with impaired hand function The brand new grip-strengthening glove Carbonhand, makes these activities in daily living possible for millions of people living with a weak grip or impaired hand function. Carbonhand® is an assistive aid in the form of a grip-strengthening glove with pressure sensors in the fingers that sense when the user needs support. When the user initiates a grip, the pressure sensors react and artificial tendons add the necessary force. In addition to the glove itself, Carbonhand consists of a small power unit that distributes the power as required. It can be worn on the back, around the waist or in a bag, making it easy to carry around. Through the sophisticated control system, the functionality of the glove can be customized to the user's individual need. The impact of Carbonhand is immediate. With an applied force of up to 20 Newtons (N) per finger, a large proportion of patients with reduced grip strength can regain the majority of their hand function and resume activities and household chores. The user may suffer hand impairment due to stroke, peripheral nerve damage, brachial plexus injury, traumatic injuries, spinal cord injuries or weakness due to age. Earlier versions of Carbonhand have been used as an assistive aid around the world for the past nine years. Close to 200 patients have been involved in several studies, using Carbonhand either as an assistive aid, as a tool for rehabilitation or being part of a control group receiving standard of care. The overall results after 4-12 weeks of Carbonhand use are improved both grip strength and hand function and that the users experiences an improved quality of life. Carbonhand uses a power unit with strong and fast motors in order to support in a wide variety of situations and most users. The glove is designed to easily be worn by people with different shapes of their hands, has six different sensors and a control system that makes sure that the glove can be customized to fit the individual needs of the user. For the users with extremely weak grip, the glove can also be activated by an external activation button. With a smartphone or tablet app, both clinicians and users can adjust the settings and create profiles to support the user in the best way possible. For instance, the user may require more support during leisure activities and less support during less intense activities of daily living, and it is easy to change between the profiles with a button on the glove. In the app, the user can also monitor its own usage of the hand, such as the number of performed grips and how much Carbonhand support during daily living. Reported Earnings • Sep 01

Bioservo Technologies AB (Publ) Completes Enrollment of Patients for the iHand Clinical Trial Bioservo Technologies AB (publ) announced All 63 study participants have been recruited for the ongoing clinical trial with Carbonhand. The base line measurement for the last participant was conducted and the study will be closed in the last week of September. The final results will be presented shortly after. The primary objective of the study is to examine whether prolonged (six weeks) use of the assistive device Carbonhand during ADL at home results in a therapeutic effect in handgrip strength of the affected hand. Several interim analyses show promising results in handgrip strength and hand function. An interim analysis was presented at the joint congress of the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand and International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy in London the 9th of June 2022. The Interim analysis, based on the results from 49 participants, show a significant improvement in both grip strength (27%) and hand function (12%) at the end of the intervention period. Follow up measurements 4 weeks after the intervention period showed a 24% improvement in grip strength in relation to the base line level. A longer presentation with more details from the interim analysis will be presented at RehabWeek from July 25th to 29th in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Annuncio • Jun 10
Bioservo Technologies AB (Publ) Preliminary Results from the Ongoing Ihand Study Present At the Congress of the International Federation of Hand Surgery and Hand Therapy in London Bioservo Technologies AB (publ) preliminary results from the ongoing iHand study were presented at the congress of the International Federation of Hand Surgery and Hand Therapy (IFSSH & IFSHT) in London. The results from 49 participants show a significant improvement in both grip strength (27%) and hand function (12%). These preliminary results are valuable since they indicate that people with reduced grip strength and hand function can independently perform activities in daily life with Carbonhand®. For people with impaired hand function, the ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL) is often impaired and a limiting factor in their lives. One of the biggest problems in number of disabilities is a reduced grip strength, which leads to them having difficulty grasping and holding objects, which in turn can negatively affect their quality of life. The power-strengthening glove Carbonhand gives patients an improved grip during use. The hypothesis in the study is that long-term use of Carbonhand on the affected hand provides intensive and task-specific training, which results in improved arm and hand function even without support of the glove. That is, the use of the glove has a so-called rehabilitative effect. In the ongoing iHand study conducted at eight different clinics in the Netherlands, patients, who have lived with a disability in the hand for an average of 10 years, have used Carbonhand for six weeks and then evaluated the effect of the glove. When data from 49 participants have been analyzed, an improvement in hand strength of 27% is seen immediately after the intervention period. In order to demonstrate a rehabilitative effect, the grip strength has also been measured four weeks after the use of Carbonhand has ended, also with very good results. The remaining improvement in grip strength is 24%. The Jebsen-Taylor Hand Function Test, a standardized assessment of hand function, has also been used to assess how well participants can perform a simulation of daily activities. In this test, participants are asked to perform seven different tasks and, in these assessments, participants have improved their function by 12%. The clinical trial has been conducted within the framework of the iHand project. The project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 801945. Reported Earnings • May 06

Bioservo Technologies AB (publ) Receives Certification According to ISO 13485 Bioservo Technologies AB (publ) has received certification according to ISO13485 from Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance Limited. The certification is part of a larger investment in medical technology products for people with impaired hand function and sales in a broader international market. During the year, the launch of Carbonhand 2.0 in Europe is planned, a completely new version of a force-strengthening glove that can be used both as an aid and as an aid in rehabilitation in the event of impaired hand function. ISO 13485 is an international standard that defines requirements for quality management systems for manufacturers of medical equipment. Carbonhand 2.0 will be classified as a medical device and is thus covered by the European Union Medical Device Regulation (MDR). The certification obtained is proof that quality system follows the rules and guidelines required by most national authorities. The US FDA has also previously announced that they will replace QSR with ISO 13485: 2016 shortly, which means that Bioservo's certification according to this standard fits well with the plans to introduce Carbonhand in the US market. Bioservo Technologies Releases New Version of the Cutting-Edge Exoskeleton Glove Bioservo Technologies has released a new and improved version of the cutting-edge exoskeleton glove on June 7, 2021. In heavy industries where repetitive strain injuries are commonplace, the Ironhand 2.0 glove can save workers' health as well as increasing business revenue by preventing injuries before they occur. Hand related musculoskeletal disorders or MSDs are common in many industries such as manufacturing, construction, and others where the workers perform repetitive lifting and gripping activities. So far, there have been few ways of preventing such disorders leading to workers not being able to work. Sick leave and rehabilitation can lead to high costs, personnel absences resulting in loss of production and revenue. When it comes to ergonomics, the best intervention is prevention – making sure to have steps in place to actively prevent MSDs such as repetitive strain injuries. The grip-strengthening glove has since been trialled by workers in manufacturing and other industries prone to repetitive strain injuries, showing promising results. To further develop their invention, Bioservo released a new and improved version of the ergonomic exoskeleton glove on June 7, 2021. At the same time they launched the application IronConnect Pro, which analyses data from the glove when it is in use, making it easier to see risk factors and preventing injuries before they occur. The innovative glove learns from the user through machine learning. After a while it can finish a movement or grip at just the slightest flick of the user's fingers – having learned how the operator moves their hand before and during a certain task. As the system is connected to the internet through 4G or Wi-Fi, it continuously collects data that can be analyzed using the app IronConnect Pro. By implementing the innovative grip enhancing glove Ironhand 2.0 as a preventive measure against MSDs, businesses can save large sums of money that would otherwise be spent on paid sick leave, finding and training a replacement and rehabilitation. According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 30 days of sick leave for musculoskeletal disorders cost $64.000,00 per incidence in the U.S. in 2018. A report from HELIX Competence Centre in Sweden stated that production- and HR managers have spent between €5.000,00 to €60.000,00 on redeployment following work-related health issues. This data clearly shows that allowing workers to continue performing repetitive and grip-intensive tasks without preventive measures is costly not only to the workers' health but to the company as well. That is where preventive measures such as Ironhand 2.0 can save workers' full use of hands while saving the company money. The rise of work-related MSDs is a growing problem in Europe – a report from the European Agency for Safety and Health at work showed a 9 percent increase of work-related RSIs from 2014 to 2019. In Sweden, Arbetsmiljöverket (the Swedish Work Environment Authority) noticed the increase of work-related musculoskeletal disorders to such a degree that in November 2019 they increased the requirements for medical controls. The requirements now include industries with hand-intensive work tasks where the workers are prone to RSIs. A great way of making sure that workers do not suffer these disorders while making sure to pass any medical controls is to ensure that there are preventative measures in place. Annuncio • Jun 08
Bioservo Technologies Releases New Version Ironhand 2.0 Bioservo Technologies is releasing an updated version of the exoskeleton glove - Ironhand® 2.0, complete with improved activation, better grip, advanced data collection and much more in order to reduce the occurrence of hand-related repetitive strain injuries (RSIs) in industry workplaces. Ironhand® is the world's first active soft exoskeleton for the hand, and the grip-strengthening glove won the NASA Commercial Invention of the Year Award in July 2020. It mimics the grasp movements of the user's hands, providing extra strength and endurance to the grip, thus helping to conserve the worker's energy and reduce the risk of RSIs and other musculoskeletal disorders. Ironhand has since been trialled by workers in manufacturing, industry and other industries prone to repetitive strain injuries, showing promising results. To further develop their invention, Bioservo is releasing a new and improved version of the grip-strengthening glove on June 7, 2021. At the same time they will launch the highly useful application IronConnect Pro. The app collects useful information from the glove when it is in use and summarizes the data into ergonomic risk assessment reports in order to track risk of injury and prevent it. Ironhand 2.0 - Keeping people strong, healthy and efficient: The Ironhand system is a smart active exoskeleton, meaning that the glove is activated when the operator starts moving their hand to perform a task, using sensors located on the palm and in the fingers' tips and middle phalanges. To further improve the glove's functionality through machine learning, the glove learns from the user and after a while it can finish a movement or grip at just the slightest flick of the user's fingers - having learned how the operator moves their hand before and during a certain task. As the system is connected to the internet through 4G or Wi-Fi, it continuously sends collected data that can be analyzed. Improving quality of life for workers in danger of RSI and MSD: Bioservo Technologies developed the powerful exoskeleton glove as a preventative measure against industry and manufacturing related injuries, to aid ergonomists and employees performing repetitive manual tasks. It is already too late when an RSI has occurred - it is often difficult to regain full usage of the impaired hand, requiring extended sick-leave and often expensive physiotherapy treatments. Ironhand 2.0 enables to prevent the injury beforehand by helping the operator perform repetitive and injury-inducing tasks while providing with ergonomic data to help assess the risk of injury in advance. The best ergonomist is the one practicing preventative measures to eliminate the need for physiotherapy and reducing or completely eradicating RSIs and other workplace injuries.
