Figma (FIG): The S&P 500’s Design Standard Turning Into an All-in-One Platform
Figma is still deeply embedded as the default design system in big companies, and the ecosystem (Buzz, Slides, Sites, Make) is clearly the strategic play rather than a one‑off product bet. None of those qualitative assumptions have really broken yet, the bigger change has been sentiment toward growth/AI software in general, not Figma’s product reality. Assuming ~30% annual growth, margins stepping up to 25%, and a 40x PE in 2030 with an 8.4% discount rate is too optimistic now considering how the broader market is now pricing similar SaaS names, which means you can believe in the long term thesis and still accept that the stock might chop sideways or even drift lower while expectations and multiples reset. I will be sharing an update soon.

Software and Hardware Giant, a King of High Switching Costs: The Story of NVIDIA
I do wonder if your valuation really factors in how fast rivals with their own chips could eat into NVIDIA’s edge.

Great write up! Curious how regulatory and privacy/trust hurdles might shape Grab’s fintech path.

Figma (FIG): The S&P 500’s Design Standard Turning Into an All-in-One Platform
Yeah, I like the company as well, but the current price feels a bit stretched. For valuation, I used Adobe as a reference point since it’s a well-established player in the space. I believe Figma can sustain around 30% annual revenue growth, and if they manage costs more efficiently, margins should improve. The market values Adobe at around 22x earnings despite only an 8% growth outlook. By comparison, Figma trades at roughly 40x sales which shows just how much more interested and optimistic the market is about Figma’s growth potential and innovative product lineup.

Airbnb (ABNB): Still one of the most interesting bets in travel
Yeah agreed. Airbnb basically is the category now, with brand strength and pricing power fueling growth. Experiences and long-term stays add even more upside. Regulation’s the only real risk, but long-term this still feels $180+ worthy.

Airbnb (ABNB): Still one of the most interesting bets in travel
I get what you mean, quality has definitely slipped in some places. Do you think it’s more because of property managers taking over, or Airbnb not controlling pricing and rules well enough?
