From what I've read, the tariffs will only apply to companies that don't have a factories in USA. From what I gather, Eli Lilly has several manufacturing sites across the USA, and plan to expand manufacturing sites to meet demand so I think Eli Lilly will be somewhat protected against these tariffs. The situation does seem pretty fluid tho, as Pfizer has already made a deal with the white house where they will be lowering the price of some drugs in exchange for tariff relief, so the impact of any such tariff may be limited across the drug industry if other major players will be making deals.
