Seeking Alpha May 08

Dell Q1 Preview: Upcoming Earnings Could Extend AI Momentum

Summary Dell Technologies is undergoing a structural transformation, becoming a specialized AI foundry and justifying a higher valuation premium. AI-optimized server revenue surged 342% YoY in Q4, now representing 26% of total revenue and fueling strong top-line momentum. With a record $43 billion AI server backlog and robust demand, I expect DELL to double-beat Q1 earnings and raise FY2027 guidance. Beyond servers, Dell may also benefit from a global PC refresh cycle, reducing pressure from legacy businesses and supporting a broader earnings expansion over time. I reiterate a Buy rating, projecting over 32% upside as DELL's valuation reset continues and AI-driven growth accelerates. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha
