Hello, fellow investors on this service. I've been following this company since 2016, when I was in Saudi Arabia. The BYR car is sold under the name of "Greeley." Their standard SUV looks as good or better than any Toyota, Lexus, GM, or Chevrolet in the same class. Back then, you could buy a new one in KSA for around $12,000. The company is now on an exponential leap forward. Here are three things you probably don't know:
1) YouTube posted the results of a speed test comparing the latest BYR sports car and Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Maserati as competitors. The BYR clocked in at 423.00 miles per hour. The performance left everyone else in the fumes. That version sells for 50% less than any car in the sports category.
2) Saudi ARAMCO has formed a joint venture with BYD to produce a new lithium/silver car battery. ARAMCO is putting up $121 billion for research and development. The results remain to be seen, but the projections are that the new battery will allow for 400 miles before a recharge and is far more dependable.
3) The warranty on their new vehicles is either 100,000 miles or 7 years. I don't know of any car company that could match those terms. If Greely ever gets access to the U.S. car market, GM, Chevy, and Ford can put their heads between their legs and kiss their asses goodbye.
I really enjoy Simply Wall Street, and I always use it before any major purchase decisions. It has worked for me. I hope my little commentary helps you make a decision.
Sincerely,
Niels Herlevsen
