Biolife Sciences Inc. Announce Its Copper-Infused Wall Planters to Be Incorporated into Initial Copper Pot Product Line MFusion infuses copper metal ions directly into every sub-bundle of fabric, allowing for 100% copper coverage. The majority of copper textile products currently in the marketplace offer as little as 5% copper coverage. The Company’s first copper-infused prototype will leverage the natural antimicrobial benefits of copper ions, which have been shown to kill 99.99% of harmful bacteria and viruses. Copper ions are proven pathogen killers and have antimicrobial prevention abilities. The copper-infused wall planter is an innovative design aimed at consumers with limited available space for plants, or those looking to maximize vertical yield. It will help offer a fuller suite of options for consumers, alongside BioLife’s original copper pot designs. These planters will promote healthier plant growth by providing minute amounts of copper leakage over time directly into the growing medium, resulting in healthier plants with larger yields. Plants grown without proper copper in the growing medium result in the plants being copper-deficient and less bountiful harvests. The fabric pot is a relatively new product in the gardening plant pot industry, with the first fabric pots being created in 1980. This product has grown slowly but steadily in market share since that time, as more and more gardeners discover the benefits of fabric pots. Fabric pots are especially popular with cannabis cultivators. Duyuru • Nov 23

Biolife Sciences Announces Agreement to Provide Aircraft Cleaning and Disinfecting Services for the Transportation & Travel Sector BioLife Sciences Inc. has entered into an agreement with FLYGTA to become the exclusive supplier of electrostatic disinfection and cleaning services for their commercial airplane fleet using an innovative antimicrobial treatment system. BioLife Sciences will conduct cleaning and disinfecting services for FLYGTA’s aircraft and private lounges, operating out of district airports throughout Ontario, including Toronto'sBilly Bishop Airport. The sanitization technology helps to control bacterial, viral and fungal populations on high-touch, high-traffic surfaces by reducing the number of germs on the treated areas. Electrostatic spray disinfection & sanitization systems turn disinfectant liquids into fine mist aerosols, subsequently applying a charge to each droplet so that they are attracted to surfaces through electrostatic forces greater than gravity, enabling the disinfectant to wrap around surfaces and cover difficult to reach areas. The treatment system has the ability to be used with almost any type of water-based disinfectant which, in this case, will be a natural essential oil and water-based sanitization solution that has demonstrated effectiveness against human coronavirus strain 229E and SARS-CoV-2. The disinfectant is a non-toxic, biodegradable, odorless and colorless environmentally friendly technology providing broad-spectrum (viral, bacterial & fungal) surface disinfection. The water-based electrostatic treatment is also ideal for metal surfaces, as it will not accelerate metal corrosion, unlike peroxide, citric acid, bleach and other commonly used harsher disinfecting chemicals. BioLife Sciences Announces the Availability of the FebriDx Ultra-Rapid, Health Canada Approved, Covid-19 Point of Care Test BioLife Sciences announced the availability of the FebriDx - an ultra-rapid, disposable, point-of-care test device that identifies a clinically significant Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) and differentiates viral from bacterial causes. Approved by Health Canada for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus testing and other viral and bacterial infections, the test itself takes only 30 seconds and provides non-invasive test results for ARIs within ten (10) minutes. The FebriDx, available from BioLife Sciences, can be administered by trained professionals at places like: pharmacies, walk-in clinics, long-term care homes, workplaces, and doctors' offices without the need for a laboratory to determine if someone is infected with the virus. FebriDX testing provides accurate results within ten minutes compared with 1.7 hours with PCR testing and 24 hours with laboratory testing. Additionally, the majority of tests are currently limited to the detection of a single group of pathogens (COVID-19) and cannot distinguish between alternative viral or bacterial infections which may have similar symptoms as COVID-19.
