Veidekke ASA Announces Executive Changes, Effective January 1, 2026 On 1 January 2026, Anders Haugen (41) will be appointed executive vice president of Veidekke Infrastructure Norway and will thus also become part of Veidekke's corporate management team. Haugen succeeds Øivind Larsen (61), who after eight years will take on a new role at Veidekke, focusing on large infrastructure projects. Anders Haugen joined Veidekke in 2008. He holds a Master of Science degree from NTNU (the Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and an MBA from NHH (the Norwegian School of Economics). Haugen joins from the position as manager for Veidekke's building operations in Oslo, a role he has held for over seven years. In 2024, he completed a General Management programme at Harvard Business School and has since been an active and important member of the team working on the new group strategy together with Veidekke's corporate management and board of directors. Veidekke Group Announces Management Changes After five years heading Veidekke's Swedish construction business, Charlotta Nilsén is now leaving the position. Martin Gadd (48) who has worked in various parts of the Veidekke Group since 2012 will assume the position. He comes from a role as responsible for "Special Units" within Veidekke's Norwegian Infrastructure business. Veidekke ASA Reaches Settlement in the Dispute over the E39 Svegatjørn-Rådal Project in Bergen Veidekkand the Norwegian Public Roads Administration have agreed on the final settlement of the E39 project between Os and Rådal outside Bergen. For Veidekke, the settlement will result in a NOK 110 million loss and positive cash flow in the amount of NOK 300 million. The loss will be recorded in First Quarter 2023. Veidekke and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration entered into an agreement on construction of the project E39 Svegatjørn-Rådal in the summer of 2015. Work on the project was finished in 2020 and the road opened to traffic in autumn 2022. The parties have disputed several elements of the project and the final settlement. The main legal hearing regarding the disputed final settlement was scheduled for September 2023. With the negotiated settlement, the case is now closed. The settlement involves a loss of NOK 110 million for Veidekke. The amount will be recorded in the First Quarter 2023 profit and loss accounts for Veidekke's Infrastructure Norway operation. As a result of payments withheld for work performed and previously paid-in VAT, the outcome of the dispute also entails capital influx payments of NOK 300 million, which will be recorded in Second Quarter and third quarter 2023. The settlement of consideration will be in the form of cash and shares in Veidekke ASA. The transaction is conditional on due diligence and that the transaction is approved by the competition authorities. Constructa Entreprenør, which has around 140 employees. In 2021 Constructa Entreprenør had revenues of NOK 726 million and EBIT of NOK 49 million. The current owners of Constructa Entreprenør will continue as key employees of the new Veidekke Bygg Bergen, and the integration of employees and the company in general will start as soon as possible. The transaction is expected to be completed in Q4 2022.
