The Board of Directors of the Company has reviewed the Nominating Committee's recommendation and the qualifications, experiences and suitability of Mr. Sim, and accordingly, the Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Sim as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The appointment is Executive. Sim Li Ern's working experience includes Vice President, Sales & Marketing Creative Technology Ltd. (2025 to present), Regional Sales Manager, Asia Creative Labs Pte Ltd. (2018 to 2023), and Regional Sales Manager, India & Subcontinents Creative Technology Ltd. (2014 to 2018). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Class 1 Honours) in Electronic Engineering (Communications) from University of Sheffield and a Diploma in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic. Mr. Sim Li Ern is a nephew of Mr. Sim Wong Hoo, the late Chairman and CEO of the Company. He is also the Administrator of the estate of Mr. Sim Wong Hoo who is the substantial shareholder of the Company. Creative Technology Ltd Provides Earnings Guidance for the Second Half Year of the Financial Year Ended 30 June 2025 Creative Technology Ltd. provided earnings guidance for the second half year of the financial year ended 30 June 2025. For the period, the company's revenue is expected to be below target, at approximately USD 30 million, and the Group is expected to report a similar level of operating loss to that of the first half year. In the second half year of Fiscal Year 2025, the Group's revenue was negatively impacted by the uncertain macroeconomic conditions and weakening consumer sentiments resulting from the US trade tariffs and global trade tensions. These factors have adversely affected the business environment in many markets for the Group's products. Mr. Sim founded the Company in 1981 and has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Office since inception. Mr. Sim has played an instrumental role in developing the business and has provided the Company with strong leadership and vision. Under his guidance, the Company became famous for the Sound Blaster sound cards and is a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products. The Company also launched the multimedia revolution that drives digital entertainment with cutting-edge audio solutions which include premium wireless speakers, wireless headphones, powerful audiophile-grade amplifiers and digital audio converters, and next-generation home-theatre systems. Following Mr. Sim's demise, the Board has, during this transition period, appointed Mr. Lee Kheng Nam, Lead Independent Non-Executive Director, as acting Chairman, and Mr. Ng Kai Wa, Independent Non-Executive Director, as acting Vice Chairman.
