Recent News & Updates
FN: Index Upgrades And AI Infrastructure Demand Will Support Further Upside
Analysts have lowered their price target for Fabrinet from $635 to $598, reflecting updated assumptions for a slightly higher discount rate, different revenue growth expectations, a modestly softer profit margin, and a reduced future P/E multiple. What’s in the News for Fabrinet Fabrinet issued earnings guidance for the first fiscal quarter ending September 25, 2026, with expected revenue between US$1.375b and US$1.425b and GAAP net income per diluted share between US$3.39 and US$3.54, based on about 36.3 million fully diluted shares outstanding.Fabrinet: I Expected This Selloff (Rating Upgrade)
Summary Fabrinet is selling off today at a double-digit rate. The last time I covered FN, it was a Strong Sell for me. Since then, its stock price dropped by almost 29%. Valuation has reset meaningfully, with FN's forward P/E dropping from 50x to roughly ~29.0x. I believe the selloff is what FN stock needed. I'm happy about their Data Center performance and see it as a more valid buying option right now. I remain cautious about FN stock due to gross margin pressure and limited profitability upside, awaiting stronger fundamentals or a lower entry point before considering a buy.
