Alarum: Doubts Linger Despite Growth

Summary Alarum posted strong Q3 results, driven by a large but low-margin project for an Asian ecommerce company. The results weren't well received by the market though, which is likely due to the fact that Alarum's margins are under pressure. Customer concentration and lumpy, project-based revenue also remain key risks. While Alarum's revenue multiple is low, sustained revenue growth and improved margins will likely be needed to drive the stock higher. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Alarum: Still A Mixed Prospect

Summary Alarum has seen a significant decline in stock value, with a neutral rating and a projected -16% downside YoY. Despite a 20% YoY revenue growth in FY 2024 and improved profitability, ALAR's top-line growth has slowed due to a 2023 restructuring. Future demand for ALAR's data extraction solutions could rise with AI advancements, but competition and product-market fit challenges pose risks. Valuing ALAR is challenging; I advise investors to stay on the sidelines due to projected negative growth and competitive pressures. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Alarum: Consumption, Concentration Causing Issues

Summary Alarum's Q2 results were solid, but Q3 guidance was extremely weak, causing the stock to plummet. Alarum attributed the weakness to reduced spend by some customers, beginning in June. While Alarum has returned to sequential growth, the company's monthly revenue run rate remains below May's level. While current weakness is concerning, Alarum's future will be determined by its ability to successfully introduce value-add services that build on its IPPN. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Alarum Technologies: Potential Opportunity In An Untapped And Growing Industry

Summary Alarum Technologies, an Israeli SaaS company, has seen its stock price rise 800% in the past year, outperforming the S&P500, and continue to see further upside. Netnut, Alarum's subsidiary, has improved performance metrics and is emerging as a key leader in the enterprise proxy server provider market. With a target price of $26.7 by EOY 2024, Alarum is poised for further growth, supported by strengthening fundamentals and a potential data collection product launch. Alarum: Data Collection Is Key For Enabling Gen AI

Summary Alarum Technologies (NASDAQ:ALAR) provides web data collection solutions which are key for training AI models. More importantly, it is doing so through sales diversification while building on its position as a provider of IP proxy solutions for companies to securely access the internet. I target an 18% upside considering additional sales opportunities for the AI Data Collector next year. There are also risks of further share dilution in case of having to raise capital for an acquisition or to face competitors. Still, this is a profitable company and has little debt and it has been outperforming Nvidia for the past year showing that the market seems to be favoring it. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Alarum: Data Collection Business Is A Hidden Gem And AI Beneficiary

Summary Alarum Technologies is a usage-based SaaS company that offers IP proxies and data collection tools for enterprises. Alarum should see significant tailwinds from the AI megatrend due to the importance of collecting good data anonymous, automatically and correctly. Alarum is trading at a 18x forward P/E even though we expect revenue to grow 90% next year. This is very cheap for a SaaS company with a long runway. We rate the stock a STRONG BUY with a target price of $40. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Safe-T stock rises premarket on $4M funding for consumer privacy business

Safe-T (NASDAQ:SFET) stock rose 5.8% premarket on Wednesday after the firm announced a $4M non-dilutive funding deal to support growth of its consumer privacy solutions and its customer acquisition program. O.R.B. Spring will provide SFET with a $2M upfront cash commitment, with an additional $2M available subject to reaching certain targets. The funding, made through a series of cash installments till Jul. 2023, will be allocated specifically for SFET's customer acquisition program for one of its consumer privacy solutions. O.R.B. is controlled by Barak Avitbul, founder and former CEO of SFET's enterprise privacy business unit NetNut. SFET will repay the funding using a revenue share model based on sales generated from customers of the consumer privacy solution acquired with each funding installment. Each installment will be repaid within 2 years. Once the funding amount has been repaid in full, SFET and O.R.B will equally share attributed revenue of the consumer privacy solution till 5 years after the date on which each installment was received. Avitbul was granted an opportunity to make additional investments in SFET through warrants, enabling him to increase his future interest in its businesses. The warrants will be exercisable at prices reflecting premiums of ~130-300% of SFET's current share price, for up to 3 years from the vesting dates of the warrants. Once the granted warrants are exercised, SFET may receive additional gross proceeds of $2M-$4M, based on amount of additional funding provided.
