Bright Minds says no material events fueled rally

After over 100% surge in its share price, Canadian biotech Bright Minds Biosciences (NASDAQ:DRUG) (OTCQB:BMBIF) announced Thursday that the company is unaware of any material events or undisclosed corporate actions that caused today’s rally. The company announced this in response to a request by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, which has sought its comments on its recent trading activity. DRUG, a pre-clinical biosciences company, added ~121% during regular trading on above-average volumes. About 119.5 company shares changed hands, compared to the 65-day average volume of ~58.3K. “The Company is not aware of any material, undisclosed corporate developments and has no material change in its business or affairs that has not been publicly disclosed that would account for the recent increase in volume or price,” Bright Minds (DRUG) said.
