She succeeds Mark Gregory who will retire from the Company in March of 2025 following a career that spans five decades in the industry including 15 years with AXIS. During his time with AXIS, Mr. Gregory has been instrumental in helping grow the Company’s global presence as a specialty insurance leader. Ms. Mitchell, who previously served as Divisional President of Chubb’s Continental Europe and MENA business, will join the Company on November 25 as Strategic Advisor to the Head of Global Markets and will be a member of the Company’s Executive Committee. Ms. Mitchell, who will be based in London, will assume the role of Head of Global Markets on January 1, 2025 as part of a planned leadership succession process and will report to AXIS President and CEO Vince Tizzio. Mr. Gregory joined AXIS in January of 2010 as CEO of its International Division and is presently a member of the Company’s Executive Committee in his current role as Head of Global Markets, where he has led the division since its formation. Prior to AXIS, Mr. Gregory spent 15 years at Marsh where he held a series of leadership positions including CEO roles for both Bowring Marsh and Marsh Global Markets. He started his insurance career with Sedgwick Group in 1980. In addition, Mr. Gregory has served on the Boards of both the International Underwriting Association (IUA) and Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA). AXIS Capital Launches Integrated Environmental and General Liability Coverage for Manufacturing Sector AXIS Capital Holdings Limited announced its Environmental business unit has launched a Specialty Package Policy for manufacturers (‘SPPm’). The SPPm policy covers a range of general and environmental liability exposures facing manufacturers, all in one integrated insurance package. Exposures covered by SPPm include those associated with manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, and processing operations, as well as waste storage, treatment, and disposal facilities. AXIS Capital Holdings Limited Promotes Dan Draper to Group Chief Underwriting Officer AXIS Capital Holdings Limited announced that the Company has promoted Dan Draper to the role of Group Chief Underwriting Officer.
