Insiders who bought CVRx, Inc. (NASDAQ:CVRX) stock in the last 12 months were richly rewarded last week. The company's market value increased by US$46m as a result of the stock's 14% gain over the same period. In other words, the original US$322.5k purchase is now worth US$589.1k.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At CVRx

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when President Kevin Hykes bought US$251k worth of shares at a price of US$8.36 per share. Although we like to see insider buying, we note that this large purchase was at significantly below the recent price of US$15.30. Because it occurred at a lower valuation, it doesn't tell us much about whether insiders might find today's price attractive.
