UFO: SpaceX IPO A Mega Catalyst, But Not The Only Reason To Buy

Summary The Procure Space ETF is a likely beneficiary of the SpaceX IPO next month. Fast index inclusion of SpaceX and a well-structured lock-up release schedule support share availability and liquidity. UFO is rated a buy, suitable for anyone seeking to circumvent IPO fallout risk. SPCX is also a buy, but unlike the strong buy I've currently got on Tesla, I've factored in some potential IPO-shock risk. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Space Sector ETFs - Sound Exciting, Aren't

Despite the rush of capital and indeed revenue into space sector companies, we noted in December last year that the sector ETFs lacked appeal. This was a righteous call as it turned out - both UFO and ARKX are down a great deal since then. The risk-reward in these funds is wrongly skewed in our view and we remain at Neutral on both. We can think of many ways to play the upside in the space sector but ETFs are not one of them. We raise some single-stock ideas below for good measure.

UFO: The Best Exposure To The Space Exploration Industry

To many investors, space is the final frontier. New advancements in technology and artificial intelligence are inching us closer to making large-scale space exploration a reality. Given the industry's substantial total addressable market, I think a small position in a space-themed stock/ETF is a good idea for those interested in investing in disruptive technologies. UFO is a space ETF that investors can buy to diversify their exposure to the space exploration industry. Despite its diversification, UFO still possesses many risks. I recommend holding a small position in UFO (less than 2% of your entire portfolio), as I believe even a modest investment could yield great returns.

In this section we usually present revenue and earnings growth projections based on the consensus estimates of professional analysts to help investors understand the company’s ability to generate profit. But as Procure ETF Trust II - Procure Space ETF has not provided enough past data and has no analyst forecast, its future earnings cannot be reliably calculated by extrapolating past data or using analyst predictions.

This is quite a rare situation as 97% of companies covered by SimplyWall St do have past financial data.
