Momentus announces $50M at-the-market equity program

Momentus (NASDAQ:MNTS) on Wednesday announced an equity distribution agreement providing for an at-the-market equity offering program. MNTS may, during the three-year term of the distribution deal, offer and sell class A shares that would result in gross proceeds of up to $50M. Net proceeds that MNTS receives from the ATM program, if any, will be used for continued development of the Vigoride orbital service vehicle, future enhancements to Vigoride, and general corporate purposes. The timing and extent of the ATM program will be at MNTS' discretion. Accordingly, proceeds under the program could be significantly less than $50M.

LuxSpace Triton-X microsatellite to fly aboard Momentus OTV

Momentus (NASDAQ:MNTS) has entered into a new service agreement with LuxSpace, the U.S. commercial space firm announced on Friday. LuxSpace is a Luxembourg-based subsidiary of German satellite maker OHB. Under the latest partnership, LuxSpace will fly its Triton-X small satellite platform aboard a Momentus Vigoride Orbital Transfer Vehicle. The mission, scheduled for 2023, will be an in-orbit demonstration of key Triton-X subsystems and other technologies. Momentus GAAP EPS of -$0.28, revenue of $0.05M

Momentus press release (NASDAQ:MNTS): Q2 GAAP EPS of -$0.28. Revenue of $0.05M. "We continue to make progress toward our goal of being a key provider of transportation and infrastructure services to the emerging new space economy," said Momentus Chief Executive John Rood. “During the second quarter, we retired regulatory risk, cleared all remaining licensing hurdles, and flew our inaugural demonstration mission with our Vigoride vehicle. Since the last earnings call, we have also deployed seven customer satellites in low Earth orbit (six from Vigoride 3, one from a third party deployer). We have learned a great deal from this first launch and from observing how the Vigoride orbital transfer vehicle performed in space during its initial demonstration mission. We plan to incorporate improvements into future Vigoride vehicles, beginning with the one that we plan to fly during our next mission this fall.”
