Security Bank Corporation (PSE:SECB) agreed to acquire 25% stake in HC Consumer Finance Philippines, Inc. from MUFG Bank, Ltd. for approximately PHP 11 billion on November 29, 2024. A cash consideration of approximately PHP 11 billion will be paid by Security Bank Corporation. As part of consideration, approximately PHP 11 billion is paid towards common equity of HC Consumer Finance Philippines, Inc.
