Some Invisio AB (publ) (STO:IVSO) shareholders may be a little concerned to see that the President & CEO, Lars Hansen, recently sold a substantial kr20m worth of stock at a price of kr201 per share. That's a big disposal, and it decreased their holding size by 19%, which is notable but not too bad.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Invisio

In fact, the recent sale by Lars Hansen was the biggest sale of Invisio shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. So we know that an insider sold shares at around the present share price of kr198. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. Given that the sale took place at around current prices, it makes us a little cautious but is hardly a major concern.

In the last twelve months insiders purchased 22.36k shares for kr2.5m. But insiders sold 370.00k shares worth kr52m. In total, Invisio insiders sold more than they bought over the last year. They sold for an average price of about kr141. It's not particularly great to see insiders were selling shares at below recent prices. But we wouldn't put too much weight on the insider selling. Insider Ownership

Another way to test the alignment between the leaders of a company and other shareholders is to look at how many shares they own. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. It appears that Invisio insiders own 2.0% of the company, worth about kr175m. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
