Société Nationale d'Electrolyse et de Pétrochimie S.A., an electrolysis and petrochemical company, produces and sells vinyl and electrolysis products. The company offers polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins used in sanitation and drinking water supply tubes, evacuation and pressure tubes and fittings, window seals, domestic cables, various rigid profiles, footwear, aprons, diapers, household textiles, garden hoses, drainage hoses, irrigation products, fittings and valves, rigid expanded plates for various furniture applications, corrugated tubes, rigid films, cosmetic bottles, food and technical packaging products, boots, sandals, soles, telephone and automotive cables, and various injected articles; and PVC compounds, such as rigid and plastic compounds for extrusion and injection applications. It also offers electrolysis products, which include chlorine used in the primarily production of PVC; sodium hydroxide used in food processing, detergents, mining, acid neutralization, textiles, pulp production, and other industries; sodium hypochlorite used to disinfect water, purification and disinfection of the house, and prevent the growth of algae and organisms in cooling towers; hydrochloric acid used in the chemical pickling of steel, the acidification of oil wells, the production of calcium chloride, and the processing of ore.
